C4F is a great place to work out if you are (like me) motivated by group settings and like your workout routine to change daily. The coaches are great and know everyone by name, members are friendly, and every workout kicks my butt and leaves me happy I came. It's really a judgement free and fun workout where you get out what you put in. I have been looking for something that integrates circuits and strength for a long time, and they just added a ton of new class types to the schedule so you can do the mix that is right for you. I also like that they offer two AM and two PM classes weekdays to fit any schedule, as well as Saturday AM classes and an occasional freebie Sunday yoga. read more

For me joining Cali4fitness was more about getting back into a routine. Being a new mom in 2020 and everything else 2020 brought, I fell into the neverending excuse road. The gym wasn't open; I was exhausted; I needed to support local restaurants. Then weeks turned into months and months into years; before I knew it, I had lost myself, someone, who was always healthy and constantly working out. I was irritable, and I wasn't happy with who I've become, and I most certainly wanted to be better for my daughter. So, I didn't join to lose a ton of weight; I did it for the accountability aspect; I did it to get "me" back. I loove C4F! Its been one of the best group fitness places I've worked out at! Discovered this place with a Groupon.. and then joined for an introductory membership special pricing! What makes this place so great is 1. All the trainers and coaches are soo good! Super motivating! Nice! Energizing! Each day with any of the trainers were fun... so theres no fave for me! They are all great! 2. The workouts are hard!! But doable! And they keep it fun and different everyday! When I first started we trained outside.. bring your yoga mat... grab some weights... and then when businesses were allowed to reopen, we went indoors and did circuit training and switched it up with some bootcamp (yoga mats and weights) on different days. 3. I looved that they had different programs that they customized and even tried themselves! Example was the 28 day shred... sooo many great results in 28 days! And they are now going to phase 2! So it shows how much they care about gym members and results!! 4. All the gym members are soo nice and supportive of each other too! It feels like a lot of great friendship and family. I've been with Cali 4 Fitness for 7 months (wow!) and cant say enough great things about Coach Tato and Coach Jillian. I heard about them from a Groupon, tried it out one weekend, and signed up for a full membership the next day! They have created an incredible community that I'm proud to be a part of. Each class is a high energy, high intensity full body workout full of encouragement from the coaches and other boot campers. They knew my name on day 1 and even in the large classes with 30 people, I still get individualized attention and a friendly push from the coaches to do my best. I had tried several other bootcamps in the past and decided to purchase the Groupon that Cali 4 Fitness offered. It was for 6 weeks of unlimited classes for only $25! (Groupon was offering a promotion when I bought it) In past experiences, I have found that when a studio finds out you have a Groupon they tend to disregard you in the classes or nonstop hound you about signing up for a membership. I was so pleased with Cali 4 Fitness because they did none of these things. The classes were a great workout for everyone, regardless of fitness level. I saw everyone around me (including myself) sweating like crazy and pushing themselves every class. It was nice to see a variety of fitness levels attending the classes. After every class I felt like I got a really good workout in for the time that I spent there. And they do not charge a fee if you cancel a class you reserve!!! So refreshing after seeing so many other studios doing this. Tato and Jillian (the owners and trainers) were super positive and helpful. They were always attentive during classes helping to correct form and to motivate the class. They inspired us to work hard and to create a supportive group environment. They even went above and beyond to reach out when you haven't attended class for a while to check-in and keep you accountable. I decided not to sign up for a membership after my Groupon expired because I already have a gym membership but I highly encourage anyone to give Cali 4 Fitness a shot. One thing that particularly stood out is they offer classes at all hours of the day so if you are a member you can most likely attend despite your work/life schedule (5 AM earliest, 7 PM latest if I remember correctly). I really enjoyed going to this gym. It really helped me lose weight, find community, and have fun. One thing to be aware of is the dietary rules during the challenges. They may be different now because the gym is under new ownership since I was there, but when I was there the dietary restrictions during challenges were pretty intense. I can't say enough good things about Cali 4 Fitness. I hadn't worked out like this or lifted weights in several months due to a back injury, but it felt so good to get back into the swing of things. The instructors were super supportive and always gave modifications if I felt like I couldn't do a particular exercise. The Boot camps are definitely challenging, but I expected it to be. My favorite class was the Saturday morning at the beach. The gym is super clean and beautiful but it's fun to switch it up and get outside. Jillian has the most wonderful energy.
