Love this studio! I like how clean and well maintained it is and how the reformers are all in great condition. I also like the spacing of the reformers and don't find them to be uncomfortably placed next to one another. All of the teachers have been very helpful at giving adjustments and providing clear instructions. Be mindful of the waitlist. You will lose a class credit if you get off the waitlist and don't immediately notify them that you can't attend. I received an email just an hour before the start of a class which I didn't see until it was too late. C2 Body has been my go-to spot for Reformer Pilates and Barre since 2019. I first started going to the Dedham location because they offered a Jumpboard Reformer Pilates group class, which was (and still is) really difficult to find in the Boston area (though they now offer it at C2 Body Milton too). I've also tried C2 Body's Barre class, which is different from many of the typical Barre classes I've taken elsewhere--I'd liken it more to a strength and cardio Barre class combined. It's definitely a challenge in a fun way. The addition of the infrared heated salt studio and saunas at C2 Body Dedham has been a total game-changer for me. Rachelle's yoga class is a must-try. Overall, I highly recommend C2 Body to anyone looking to feel stronger and be part of a welcoming community. read more

Their pricing is very reasonable & their studios are beautiful... especially the new studio in Walpole. I was also able to purchase a gift certificate online easily. What an awful experience. Went in to purchase a gift certificate and owner made it seemed like I was putting her out. Obviously they are overcharging by such an insane amount that they don't need new business. I was trying to give money to their business and owner couldn't be bothered as it meant more work for her. She asked if I could come back another time! What kind of business does that??? In addition to never going there, I will make sure that everyone I know stays away. read more

I have been going to C2 Studio in Dedham 3x per week for the past 5 months or so. Number 1: Pilates is incredible - stick with it and you'll transform your body. You'll feel better in every way. Number 2: C2 is fantastic. The facility and equipment is state of the art. The instructors are awesome. I have been working exclusively with Kate. She is extremely knowledgeable. She makes it enjoyable and very challenging at the same time. She's a stickler for proper technique, which is the key to progress in Pilates. I am a golfer. My strength and flexibility are markedly improved. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I am hitting my drives consistently 20 or so yards longer than before. Beyond golf, I feel better in every aspect of my life. I have had nothing but courteous, positive interactions with the people at C2. And as far as I can see, everyone of the other clients are enthused and happy as well. Pilates is not the cheapest way to go in terms of exercise, but C2 Pilates is SO much more. I feel that my investment of time and money at C2 are the best investments I've made in a long time. C2 should most definitely be 5 stars. read more

I will have to say, this is probably my least favorite version of a barre class. I have not taken pilates with C2, so I cannot speak to those classes. The room is dark with disco like lighting, and shows/movies playing in silent in the background. It's a distraction and somewhat strange. The class has much more cardio and weight work than a typical barre class, and only about 30% of the classes I would say are done at the barre. Not necessarily a bad thing, though. My biggest gripe is that there are no corrections by the instructors (I have had 3 different ones), and alot of times it's hard to hear the instructors over the music or see them in the dim lighting for anyone who has not taken their classes before. If you are looking for a more traditional barre class experience, I wouldn't say that C2 can provide that. read more

This update is actually old but I didn't get around to writing it.... extremely unlike me, I had decided maybe I should give C2 a second try (and just avoid classes with their unfriendly instructor) because I saw livingsocial for them, it had been about 6 months since I left there and I hadn't found a new studio. Unfortunately, their customer service continued to give the impression that they REALLY don't want my money :-/ I followed the directions on their website for redeeming the livingsocial, but didn't get a response. So I emailed them and was assured that they would get back to me. Then they didn't. I emailed again and was told they were working on it.... how much is there to "work on" when you just need to credit my account with a couple classes so I can register? But I remained patient, telling myself that they must be having some sort of technical difficulties or maybe they're overwhelmed by people trying to redeem them... Why was I still trying to make excuses for them after my appalling previous experiences and now weeks of waiting for them to let me use the classes I purchased?! But I stayed patient and did not receive a response. When another week passed without any word I called and was told someone would get back to me. But what a surprise, they did not. Over a month after I had started contacting them and patiently waiting imagining excuses for them, someone called me!!!!!!! Hooray! I will finally be able to go back to pilates! Oh no, that is not true. I was huffily told by the man on the phone that the livingsocial was only for new customers... but I had read the voucher very carefully before and after I purchased it and it said no such thing. I was confused, how had I missed such an important clause?! The irritated man informed me that it wasn't on the livingsocial, they had just told their current customers not to buy it. ...ummm, so if I were a current customer I would have known this...and I probably would have taken a class in the previous 6 months or have taken more than 4 classes at your studio? Before I could express any of my confusion, I was demandingly informed to get a refund from livingsocial and the call was ended. (In contrast, LivingSocial, who wasn't at fault in any way, was the pinnacle of good customer service. Extremely pleasant, appreciative of me as a customer, and eager to apologize for the vendor not accepting my voucher and to assure me that it rarely happens.) Why, oh why does C2 not want me as a customer? I tried so very hard to like them, but I've run out of excuses for their atrocious treatment of customers. :-( read more

I've had back problems for years, which often became debilitating as an avid golfer. I usually couldn't play 2 days in a row, and practicing wasn't even an option. Therapy, yoga, heat, ice...nothing worked until my fiancé got me into Pilates at C2 a few months ago. Last weekend, I went on a golf trip and played 3 straight days of 36-holes a day...and felt absolutely fine at the end. I'm back to playing and practicing multiple times per week completely pain free...and may have even added a few yards. I can't recommend C2 enough, not just for golfers but anyone looking to improve their overall health and workout regimen. Thanks again, CC! read more

I have had barre classes with each instructor and I have to say I have enjoyed every single class. Before barre I never exercised. Although I was sore after the first class, it was a really simple transition afterwards. The workouts are intense but they are easy to keep up with and they cater to everyones pace. I have just recently started with the Pilates and I really enjoy those classes as well. I have had no unfriendly encounters with any staff member. Everyone is very inviting and willing to help. If you want to feel better about your body then C2 Pilates is the place to go! read more

C2 Pilates is great. I have been going there for about 4 years now. CC and the instructors are fantastic! They are able to work with whatever your skill level. I love the way I feel and look. Each class is varied and is an excellent workout. If you've never tried pilates and want to, I recommend C2. It's nice to go to a pilates studio versus just a pilates class at a gym. read more

The thing I love most about C2 Pilates is the personal attention, even in a group class. I found that the alignment tips I got helped me get the most out of every exercise. Taking classes there and using the reformers has helped my posture and my figure. It has also greatly enhanced my yoga practice and the results I get in Pilates mat classes because it has helped me strenthen and isolate muscles in my core. I'm really surprised at the 2 low reviews. Everyone has always been friendly and accommodating to me. I have been going to C2 for awhile now and I cannot say enough about the establishment. I have belonged to a fair number of gyms in my time and the expertise that the trainers have is unsurpassed. I started out in Pilates with CC. I had a bad back and heard that pilates might help after going to my share of chiropractors, etc. with no success. Well it worked! My back stopped hurting and it is honestly, the best I have ever felt. This is one thing I will never give up. I have since also started the barre classes and it is so much fun and I am seeing results!! Forget the Brazillian Butt workout :-) If you want people who are interested in you, who will prompt you on the right way to execute a move, and watch you so you won't get hurt this is for you. Go for yourself and form your own opinion - you will not be disappointed. C2 is a gem in a sea of mediocrity. read more
