Ever since I bought my first place a couple of years ago I've made periodic trips to one of their stores to browse and pick up a few pieces. This particular location in Scarsdale is pretty new, and since I wanted to get a statement piece for my mantel, I decided to take a drive and check the store out. This HomeGoods opened a couple of months ago - it used to be a Staples but was closed, gutted, and reopened as the aforementioned. Construction was quick, and since the space was super large I was looking forward to the amount of stock and variety they would have. I don't feel I was let down - there was a lot of stock all over the store and it was pretty well organized. As always, you really need to look and have a little patience when browsing. There's really not much more to say other than that I'm a fan of this HomeGoods - it's bright, spacious, and has a good selection of merch; plus, all the staff I encountered were friendly. While I would probably opt to visit a location closer to where I live, it's good to know this new spot delivers the (home) goods.

Compared to other DSW's this location is pretty huge and flawless. I've been to other DSW locations, where it is impossible to ask for help, because you barely see any of the employees on the floor. You're not missing out on anything because DSW has a pretty big selection on footwear. If you can't find what you're looking most likely DSW's website will carry it. The prices are amazing - especially the sale ones - and my friend picked up a gorgeous formal dress (dark blue, pleated top, flowy sheer but still tasteful bottom with a peekaboo slip) for under $30. :O I also saw a dress that I absolutely loved (floral, flowy, loose top) but unfortunately they only had a medium. It would've only been $18 though! I'm definitely going to check out other Social Apparels in the city; I didn't have much time but I would've loved to browse more here for casual dresses, too.

I ordered a made-to-order Hyde upholstered swivel armchair set (two chairs) in Rustic Chenille Brown on September 16, 2025, specifically to ensure accurate color matching for a full home renovation. The chairs were delivered on December 12, 2025, and immediately upon delivery it was clear that the color did not match the agreed-upon specifications. The difference was obvious and substantial. I reported the issue right away and provided clear photographic evidence, including side-by-side comparisons with the original fabric swatch. Despite this, my request for a return and refund was denied without a substantive review. The "made-to-order" label was used as a blanket excuse rather than addressing the fact that the product did not match what was ordered. Being unable to reach anyone with decision-making authority left me with no reasonable path to resolution. Ordering made-to-order furniture should not mean forfeiting basic consumer rights--especially when the product delivered is materially different from what was promised. Overall, this experience reflects poor quality control and even worse customer service. I would strongly caution others considering made-to-order items from Pottery Barn
