Not a single item, box, piece of furniture, wall, door, or any other belonging OR my new home, was damaged in the move. If you've ever moved before, you know that is unheard of! (and if you haven't ever moved before, I hate you for it!) From the very first contact we had with the owners/employees of Moving Machine, things ran extremely easy, smooth, and in a very professional manner. (don't you love when you hire someone to do work, and they actually WORK?!?!) The crew and the truck arrived exactly on time ready to get started. They never once missed a beat packing the truck, carrying boxes and furniture, and didn't even complain that some of my items where most likely not packed properly. :-/ I've moved several times in my adult life, and this was the quickest, easiest, most cost-effective move I've ever done. Even my husband is in awe of how "fast" it all got done, and without a glitch for that matter! If you're moving and want only the best, at the most fair prices, with the utmost level of professionalism, I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU HIRE MOVING MACHINE!!! You will thank me and thank the crew at Moving Machine for choosing nothing but the best for your next move! Thank you, Moving Machine for making a very stressful event such as a move, a very easy and pleasant experience!

They made several phone calls to let me know their arrival status and was available at last minute (since I was in a pinch from the previous moving company). They gave me an estimated time of arrival and as time went on they gave me updates and ended up being early. When they showed up they were personable and friendly. I only needed loading help and we discussed the best way to load everything and making sure nothing got damaged during the move to San Diego. They packed everything in like an intricate puzzle and took very good care of my property. One of my fears with unknown labor is how they will handle your stuff. No worries with these guys. They display the upmost care and professionalism. I'm only giving 4 stars because they are quite a bit more expensive than other companies I found online which I mentioned to them. They advised me to be wary of other companies with lower rates as they have several hidden charges that their other clients had advised them (like charge per item loaded, per step, etc.) Overall, I was very pleased with their service. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I couldn't get my money back so I paid them an additional $5000. on the day of the move, southwest van lines showed up and demanded another$16000. $8000 today and another $8000 upon delivery at the destination. we didn't have any more money so brightside agreed to give the movers $3500 of my last payment at the destination. Again, there was no way to get any of my money back and everything for the relinquishment and cleaning of the current rental property was already scheduled. on the day of delivery, they showed up with a semi- truck and were unable to navigate the alley where we wanted our belongings delivered. they did not want to move the stuff across the back yard to the garage. then we had to pick up 2 rental trucks for them to empty the semi into. the semi was not full. it had 2 other households on board as well. they sloppily stuffed our stuff into the 2 trucks. then they tried to get more money for being there too long. the worse part of it all was that they took so much money from me that I didn't have anything left for the down payment for the home I was planning to buy. also much to our dismay, they left about a room full of stuff at the original home. they just didn't take a lot of stuff. no reason. just didn't. I was an air force wife for twenty years and I've had all kinds of moves. this wasn't a move it was a nightmare. save yourself the struggle and don't use bright side moving brokers or southwest van lines.

Mitch and his crew showed up on time and were very professional. We were moving from a 3rd floor apartment so it was not an easy move. We were told to relax and they'd take care of everything. So we just sat out on patio and drank coffee. :) Took Mitch's crew only 2 1/2 hours for what I thought would be 4 hours or more. Our truck was loaded professionally and was secure. I had estimates from $200 to over 1K $$$ when I sent out a list of items I anticipated needed to be removed. One of the many things I liked about Pick Up Haulers is that they do their best to sort everything that they pick up and try to recycle it at the appropriate places instead of just taking it all to the landfill. They ended up spending more than a couple of hours lifting and carrying stuff out to their flatbed trailer /they also disassembled a trundle bed and were able to take it in the mattress to the truck . They determine their price based on the amount of space (? Cubic feet )We ended up using about 3/4 of their space on their large flatbed trailer and the fee was just a little over $300. I felt that was very fair for the services provided. Texas in May isn't usually quite as hot & humid as the Friday we moved. I enjoyed Chris and the young man that was his employee. They were very respectful and understood our situation. I would definitely use them again and plan to whenever we decide to move!! One thing I will say is that after this experience I definitely feel that less. (much less.!!) is more! LOL
