I've always drive by but never went in until yesterday. I found the interior nice and clean, went into bathroom before eating and clean as well. My server was super friendly and greeted us right away and was fast at getting us our drinks. Their was approximately 10 others table with customers around 2 pm. They had another waitress on as well. We all ordered the all you can eat, as we all where very hungry. Each of our plate where equally portioned with the amount of fries and fish. I am thinking it was either pollock or cod fish. I really enjoyed the lightly batter fish a little small but you can always order more! The fries though where crisp but not over cooked. Everyone not just I thought they were a bit greasy. Maybe to hot of a fryer or cooked too long. The fish on the other hand didn't taste greasy at all. Our server was great with seeing if we wanted more fish how many and if we wanted more fries. We definitely ate more fish. She even made sure our drinks are top up. I witnessed the other staff member doing her best as well. Over all great service and good fish, I would have gave it full stars if only the fries were better.

Not my most favorite atmosphere... But for a casual dinner with really good food it's great! Waitresses are very good.

Well, we were driving through West Kelowna and…read morefound "Buy the Sea," which surprised us with a menu that not only included fish and chips, but lots of fresh seafood to take home as well. The small restaurant/market offered different kinds of fish and chips at different price points. There was Cod, Haddock, Halibut, Prawns and Oysters, and we chose to split the Haddock and chips, with extra coleslaw and tartar sauce. The Haddock arrived quickly and hot, with a piece for each of us, and a handful of fries - even for a split dish, there were really large portions. The fish was perfectly fried, and inside, tender and melted in my mouth. The chips were crispy, and I enjoyed dipping them in both the ketchup and tartar. They also provided both white and malt vinegar which I appreciated. After lunch, we perused the market area and saw there were giant crab legs, octopus, lots of fresh fish, poke, smoked fish and crab. I had my eye on the sushi-grade Ahi which I will take home next time to make my own sushi. There were also jars of sauces and dressings, and I spied ghost pepper sauce for the next time I need a good flavor boost. The prices were reasonable, and everything seemed fresh and clean. Looking forward to returning!

Both were done beuatifully. If you have a hankering for reasonably priced, quick, fish and chips, and can't bear the thought of driving over that bridge again, this is the place for you! Do note: it closes at 7:00, so not for late night snacking!

The restaurant is a causal yet trendy counter food service where you order the food first at the stall and find your own seat among the beautiful outdoor dining area they have. We ordered a spread of seafood dishes and was beyond impressed with every dish! The seacuterie board is such a creative seafood board filled with a great selection of smoked fish, cod ceviche, spot prawns, pickled veggies and house made rice crackers with squid ink. The SoBo's Pockets was a nice light appy with your choice of filling of shiitake mushrooms or BC Salmon. The Miso Lingcod Rice bowl was a favourite for everyone at the table. It was so beautifully presented and there was so much bold Asian inspired flavours and ingredients we just it loved so much! This has been the closest to a true vacation dining experience for me for a very long time! It was such a relaxing (aside from swapping away some wasp and flies who were also very appealed to our food too - but that's nature) and tasty experience! I can't believe this small little island has so much to offer!

The seacuterie plate had a spot prawns, smoked fish, ceviche, pickled vegetables and nori. I enjoyed most of this dish although I felt the salmon was a bit over spiced with dill. The inari pockets were filled with mushrooms and veggies, very fresh and tasty appetizer. My favourite was the lingcod bowl, which comes on a bed of rice and veggies including mushrooms. Great asian flavours and tender lingcod!
