By then, Brian and his family had opened Creek Hill. It was a little further away than the other facility, but it was less for full board and most of my drive was highway. Long story short, I moved her there and both of us couldn't be happier. The barn may not have the bells and whistles of other farms, but the level of care is exceptional! My OTTB is calm, comfortable, and has never looked better. Tons of turn out weather permitting. Quality care at an affordable price is hard to come by, but this farm has both! Highly recommend!

She stated that rides would be happening the next weekend. We had driven 30 minutes for this experience. Needless to say, we never went back and won't be going back. It seems like the owner could have updated the website so that we wouldn't have made the drive. I understand that things come up and that life happens. She was absolutely sweet, understanding, knowledgeable, and very patient. My two cousins who went with me aren't very experienced riders, and she walked them through everything. Royal Creek has an amazing way of setting up the entire experience. They are really good at pairing the rider with the house -- not easy to do, but very well done. Once you arrive, you meet your "guide" and then are introduced to your horse. I really enjoyed the fact that you have some one on one time with the horse you'll be riding before you actually get on. You get to give your horse a brush down so they get comfortable with you, after that the horses are saddled up, and they take you to an indoor arena to ride around and get comfortable. Your guide will then make sure you're comfortable to take you out to the field where you'll ride around for a while. This was honestly one of the best horseback riding experiences I have had in a long time. Also, their prices are super reasonable. $105 for 3 people for an 1 1/2 hours

Drove out there and ran into Sheila, the "barn manager." She claimed not to have gotten the messages I left. She said there was a boarder leaving soon and she would put me on the list. Great! She gave me her cell number and told me to feel free to check in. Well, a month later I called the number she gave me. No answer. I called the main number and left yet another message with my number. No answer. Finally, I texted Sheila (at this point, I'm not even sure who she is) and got a "wrong number" response. Why would she lie to me? What kind of way is this to run a business?

I purchased an OTTB from Win Row Farm and had a prepurchase exam done, except for x-rays, as I was…read moreassured by Amy that the horse was returned from the track (being told that this was one they had initially bred) only due to the fact that it was too slow and not interested in being a racehorse. The then-owner brought it back to Amy hoping it could have a second career as a hunter. The gelding passed the vet exam, bloodwork and flexion test, so I purchased him. I live out of state and had him shipped to me. The horse has had lameness issues shortly after purchasing. I've had him now for several years, had him on glucosamine/hoof care supplements for several years, glucosamine injections monthly now and now powdered bute. He's been x-rayed and found to have bone chips. I've tried to contact Amy by phone leaving a voice mail several times and texting her, and also emailing to see if there had been any previous x-rays performed being requested for review by my vet. NO RESPONSE!!! I then tried contacting her husband, Chris, by several methods. Again, NO RESPONSE!!!! This shows me they are not responsible horse sellers! I definitely do not recommend them.
