At the end of a 75-minute class, I feel like I've gotten a great workout for my body as well as a clear mind due to a needed mental break. Lisa has a light, positive & knowledgeable way that she instructs class & for me, that's something that I need to keep me coming to practice regularly. Lisa is attuned to the needs of those who practice in her classes & will offer variations for poses & adjustments while still being sensitive to personal space. Because of her awareness, it's possible to continue (or even begin!) practicing while healing an injury. For example, another person in the class I attended was wearing a knee brace & she took time to work with him assuring he got the most out of class without re-injuring himself. For those who enjoy the benefits of a heated "hot yoga" class, there are currently two heaters in the room. While it was definitely QUITE WARM during the session I attended on opening day, it wasn't Bikram hot. I don't think Lisa's intentions are to bring the room temperature to that level, however she did mention that she intends to add more heaters in order to get the room closer to the mid-90 degree range. It's my opinion that any of Lisa's classes are worth checking out, regardless of your fitness level.

It can be very intimidating to pursue hobbies and try to build new skills as an adult, but I finally set out to try yoga after 2 years of contemplation. Jolly Llama, and the wonderful instructor Jackie, made it so easy. I instantly felt comfortable and continue to feel so whenever I come in, and I highly recommend their beginner's class if that's what you're looking for. My instructor Jackie has consistently been mindful and encouraging. It's nothing like I expected. Throughout the lesson she reminds us to thank ourselves for showing up, and check in with our spirits and our bodies. She makes you feel reassured that it's okay not to go through with a pose that your body isn't agreeing with, and always offers you alternative cozy poses when something that may be a bit challenging comes along. This has been key for me in learning something new. It's made it very easy to go with the flow and grow. An added bonus is that everyone here is so approachable, both staff and fellow classmates. I've noticed in many reviews about yoga studios in general that newcomers can feel an air of pretentiousness, or feel like they're walking into something cliquey; things of that sort that can make a person feel unwelcome. But there was NONE of that here! Nothing but smiles, kindness and uplifting energy. It really makes all the difference.

My skin is glowing But for years going to the gym has become a chore, now I can't wait to get here! What a great feeling that is! There is so many classes to choose from ! I'm doing yoga, I'm doing ISO work, I'm doing core work, we work with all the different bands, and for cardio they have cycling saunas and rowing and a seated elliptical. They also have in the back of the gym dumbbells and kettlebells and stability balls so you can really do everything that you need to do right here! Plus this place is open 24/7 and the classes are always running so there's no excuse! I feel the soreness I used to get from other classes has lessened because of the heat, don't get me wrong you can feel that you worked your muscles, but you're not in agony! At least that's been my experience so far!

I like that this gym is 24-7 if you subscribe to their monthly membership (or pay in full in…read moreadvance.). The heat doesn't personally bother me and you can stop any time you want. I highly recommend buying all the equipment you could possibly need so that you don't have to worry about renting it or buying it later on. There are videos to follow when you exercise in the mini-hot studio, but you can pace yourself. The staff are really nice when they are available. I wish there were more community events to try to get local gym members to interact with each other more but otherwise this is a nice option to have for a gym. Need to make more time for it.

I can only assume that her one on one and group classes are just as good. Over the last three years I have experienced a slew of Yoga teachers who either lacked the flow one so desires or who try to turn yoga into Zumba. Jennifer, quite pleasantly, avoids the pitfalls so many others fall into. She does a session that is strenuous, but not overly so. Plus her nature, attitude, and attention to ones breathing and posture are a refreshing break from those that get too caught up in the "exercise". Although not traditional per se, Jennifer's approach is well rooted in more traditional practice and her sequential flow is spot on, again something one either gets and has or just doesn't. So few do. I went to class the other day suffering from weeks of back pain that I have been trying to work through. For some reason the combination and degree of stretching mixed with the right amount of muscle tension and movement gave me almost immediate and lasting relief. Jennifer's humor, vitality, and masterful use of ear plugs added to the experience. I was challenged to go beyond where I had been just days before yet with the urging of "finding one's own place and comfort." Again, everything just felt right. I highly recommend that anyone take any offered classes or workshops by Jennifer. You won't be disappointed!
