There service is ok. Took my son there today for a Pan x-ray. It was a long wait though. Guess the technician wanted to be precise.

I had a CT scan scheduled with BASS Imaging for over a week. When I called, I spoke with a representative named Tanya, and the experience was extremely upsetting. She was impatient, dismissive, and spoke to me with very little patience. Several times while I was trying to explain my situation, she muted me while I was still talking. I have never experienced anything like that before. It made me feel ignored, disrespected, and honestly humiliated. What made the situation even worse was the confusion regarding my insurance. Tanya told me my insurance had not approved the CT scan and that my only options were to cancel my appointment or pay about $1,200 out of pocket. I contacted my insurance company, and they explained that they do work with BASS Imaging. The issue was that they had repeatedly asked BASS for the exact amount needed to approve the scan, but they were unable to get it. When I called BASS again later, another representative gave me completely different information. At that point, I no longer knew who was telling me the truth. I wasn't asking for anything special. I was simply trying to understand the situation and find a solution so I could get an important medical test done. Instead, I felt like I was treated as if I was a burden and that they just wanted to get me off the phone. I truly hope BASS Imaging takes this feedback seriously. Medical situations are stressful enough, and patients deserve to be treated with respect, patience, and compassion. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the experience I had. Update: Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify one important point. During my call, I asked to speak with a manager because I felt the conversation was going nowhere. Tanya told me there was no manager available and that she was the highest-ranking person there. My concern was never just the insurance issue. It was the way I was treated. If Tanya is indeed the highest-ranking person available to speak with patients, that is even more concerning because someone in that position should set the standard for professionalism, communication, and compassion. It has now been almost a week since this happened, and despite your response here, no manager has contacted me to discuss my experience. You mentioned that I should contact the imaging center and ask to speak with a manager. I already tried to do exactly that during my original phone call, but I was told there was no manager available. I truly hope you review the recorded phone calls. They will clearly show how the conversation was handled. My goal is not to get anyone in trouble. I simply don't want another patient to go through the same experience I had.

My report initially contained a confirmed processing error. After I pointed it out, they "reanalyzed" the same scan and uploaded corrected results -- but the numbers for the exact same scan date (October 26, 2025) are different between the old and new reports. This includes different body fat percentages and lean mass values for the same scan, which should never happen. Despite this, they insist the updated results are "accurate" and refused to offer a complimentary rescan. What's more frustrating is that when I asked for clear validation (what exactly went wrong, what changed, and why the two reports still show different data), they avoided directly answering the most important question: why the same scan still produces conflicting results across reports. That lack of transparency is unacceptable. If a company cannot guarantee consistent results from the same scan, then the reliability of their entire service is questionable. I rely on these scans to track real progress, and this experience has completely undermined my confidence in their data. Reply to BodySpec: Once again, I want to re-emphasize that you've changed the results for the same scan THREE times!! Imagine if I had trusted your data from the beginning and never contacted your team to look into it -- I would have been relying on the wrong data. What's the point of doing the scan if the data is incorrect? All I'm asking is for you to compensate for YOUR MISTAKE by allowing me to have a complimentary rescan, and I'll let this go. But your customer service has dodged my question and is essentially saying "trust me on the data." How can I trust it after my data has changed THREE TIMES?

I had previously made an appointment at a different imaging center and quickly cancelled due to my fear of feeling claustrophobic. I researched open MRI machines and found Medical Insights Diagnostics (Inview Imaging). I scheduled my appointment for a few weeks out and had it today. My appointment was at 10am and I showed up a few minutes prior. I filled out three quick forms and was taken into a changing room where I was able to store my phone, keys, wallet, etc. I was taken into the MRI room and was immediately put at ease with how roomy the open MRI is. I did not have to change into a gown for my scan and I even got to keep my shoes on. I laid down on the table and was given a cushion to go under my legs and two smaller cushions to go next to my head. I was also given ear plugs. I inquired about headphones to listen to music, but because of the scan I was having I was not able to listen to music. Since I was having a brain scan I had to wear a coil over my head, which was comparable to a football helmet. I was handed a "panic ball" that I could squeeze if I needed to be pulled out of the machine and they sent me inside. My scan lasted 20 minutes, but felt much faster. I was able to remain calm the entire time and even opened my eyes a few times. I cannot describe the relief I felt upon finishing my scan and exiting the machine. I grabbed my things, paid, and within 5 minutes I had the CD of the scan. If you have anxiety or claustrophobia I highly recommend coming here for your MRI. The open MRI is spacious and the MRI techs made me feel comfortable. I will be coming back here for any future MRIs.

Each time I call to schedule my appointment, I am met with an unprofessional attitude from the front office. I could not clearly identify the employee's name, but it sounded like "ShaQueeta." Based on my interactions with her, she was dismissive, unhelpful, and made no effort to determine why there was confusion about my referral or to help resolve the issue so my appointment could be scheduled. During my most recent call, she stated she could not read my physician's referral or determine what had been ordered, even though I had a physical copy of the same referral that had been faxed to the office. Rather than reviewing the referral more carefully, contacting my physician's office for clarification, or explaining what was needed from me, she simply stated she could not process it and ended the call without offering a path forward. Patients contacting a breast imaging center are often calling about time-sensitive health concerns. Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable communication should be the standard. After reading the recent reviews, it appears this is not an isolated experience. Management should take a close look at what is happening in this department and ensure staff receive ongoing training so professionalism, competence, and patient communication are consistent across every interaction. The first contact a patient has with your office is often a phone call, and it should reflect the level of care your organization is committed to providing. Do better!

Over billing for annual preventative check. I visited my…read moreprimary care doctor in April 2026 for annual preventive check. In the short meeting I shared what medicines I am taking for my existing conditions (hypertension and type 2 diabetes). The conditions already exist on my file before the visit. There was no new medical complaint for the doctor to address. But the doctor or Sutter Health still bill an extra "Office Visit" because they said it's a medical "discussion" hence an extra "office visit" bill. This is ridiculous. I feel that the doctors and Sutter Health are ripping patients off by billing as many claims as they can to extract more money from the insurance companies and the patients. My advice to patients: Beware when seeing doctors in Sutter Health in annual preventative check. Anything you said can be used against you in the bill.

This year we (my wife and me) switched to Palto Medical Foundation (Sutter Health) at Fremont. In the annual preventive check visit we, the patients, started the conversation by disclosing our body condition from head to toe (such as heartburn, backpain, etc) so the doctor can know our condition better. Then the simple conversation became "medical discussion" in the view of PAMF/SutterHealth, then an extra "office visit" was bill on top of the annual preventive check. This problem has never happened with any other PPO doctors we have seen in the past 30 years in bay area. Complaint 2: PAMF/SutterHealth did not label "preventive care" on all items (e.g. blood test) for the preventive care visit. This could be human error. After we appealed, they did not pro-actively help us (patients). We were told to deal with our insurance company. My insurance company reviewed and approved most items if not all (still in progress) as preventive. We feel that PAMF/SutterHealth left patients alone and just collect the bills from patients.
