As a vegetarian in a meat-eating house I am really fussy where I buy the weekly meat, how fresh the meat is and how clean the premises are. I am pleased to tell you that Morley Butchers really do look after me, the meet looks red rather than brownish and they not only sell fresh meat but at reasonable price too. These butchers are better and always cheaper than leading supermarkets. Another added bonus to this wonderful butchers is the cheese. It made for a good Instagram, however, yesterday we went to Blacker Hall Farm where we ordered afternoon tea - only to be treated to larger sandwiches, a giant scone each, and three unique delicious desserts. This far exceeded my expectations and also was quite a bit more tasty than Betty's. Would definitely visit again soon!

This is a great find and has an excellent reputation for some of the best organic meat and veg in the area. For me it's the organic free range eggs that appeal and some hearty herbs. You'll also be shopping in the knowledge that not only are they providers of organic produce but they also pride themselves on their fine animal welfare certificates for looking after all their animals. For me that is very important and I cannot praise them highly enough for it. They also offer guided walks around the farm and outlying area from time to time so it's a good idea to keep checking their website if you want to see more about where your food is coming from. The store is one level and has wheelchair shopping trolleys and motorised ones. Every shelf in Morrison's supermarket is full unlike a lot of others that leave empty boxes rather than gaps. Morrison's also stock the widest range of products than any other supermarket in Selby. Inside you will find well stocked fish, fresh meat and deli counters. There is an in store bakery that bake bread and pies though out the day. There is a large salad table with take-a-away tubs which you fill yourself. In addition there is an in store Cafe that cook the meals while you wait rather than serve heated food. Whether you use Morrison's as your main weekly shop it is well worth a weekly visit for their offers that are usually half price or near. Morrison's often hold raffles for charity, hold art competitions and celebrate charitable evens in store.
