This is a great find and has an excellent reputation for some of the best organic meat and veg in the area. Not only do they have a long list of awards but they also provide supplies to Harvey Nichols as well. Not a bad boast. You can even try some rarer breed pork if that tickles your fancy. For me it's the organic free range eggs that appeal and some hearty herbs. You'll also be shopping in the knowledge that not only are they providers of organic produce but they also pride themselves on their fine animal welfare certificates for looking after all their animals. For me that is very important and I cannot praise them highly enough for it. They also offer guided walks around the farm and outlying area from time to time so it's a good idea to keep checking their website if you want to see more about where your food is coming from. A smorgasbord of deep red flesh lies on display with all different kinds of choice cuts available for your picking. Doing a rip-roaring trade at Christmas time too. Morrisons 'market place' is a unique set out for a supermarket and you can find fresh fruit and veg along side a fish monger and butchers where just like the advert shows you, the staff will be more than happy to talk you through whatever cut of meat you require or even fillet your fish for you. There is also a bakery and rotisserie offering yummy treats such as pork pies and sausage rolls as well as hot roast chickens. Another good point worth mentioning about Morrisons is that they do from time to time do brilliant offers. It's worth looking out for them on the internet or in your local paper.

As a vegetarian in a meat-eating house I am really fussy where I buy the weekly meat, how fresh the meat is and how clean the premises are. I am pleased to tell you that Morley Butchers really do look after me, the meet looks red rather than brownish and they not only sell fresh meat but at reasonable price too. The premises are clean and bright and the staff are lovely too! Although I have yet to convert any of them :)
