I've been here three times now. The first time I went the owners daughter was doing my nails and almost refused to give me gel or longer length because every time I made a request she would ask if I could "even pay for it" and continued to ask me if I work etc. That's a disgusting way to treat people who come into YOUR salon. As well the nails turned out terrible for 80$. The most recent time was just so bad me and my mother walked right out before our hands were even touched. The owner was yelling at her employees right in our face and making us feel dumb and annoying for even coming in. She raised her voice at my mother for setting the nail polish on the wrong spot and then when I told her the water for my pedi was extremely hot she continued to raise her voice at me that she can't change the temp and it's not that hot. Walked in for a pedicure only after seeing the previous reviews. They saw my fingernails and I decided to go ahead and let them do them. Maybe someone else should make my decisions for me because that was a poor decision! To begin with, I have dipping powder gel on and thought they would, like all other salons I've been to, do the individual aluminum finger wraps while I was getting my pedicure, but that didn't happen. (Btw- the pedicure was actually good) After the pedicure was done, I went to sit at his table and he began to dremel file down my dipping powder gel like normal, except he went too far on one of my fingers and filed pretty deep into my nail bed. After that was the worst part!!! He went and got a bowl of water, microwaved it till it was boiling, places that in front of me and then got another bowl with a paper towel in it and put some acetone in it and then put that bowl nesting inside the hot water bowl. I was to put my fingers in the top bowl of acetone to soak. As I sat there it began to get hot. And hotter. And so hot I had to take my fingers out a couple of times while he was off wandering around the shop. One of the times I took my fingers out I could see bubble from under the paper towel that was in the bottom of the bowl!! Yeah I was boiling my fingers in acetone!! When he finally let me be finished my fingers were red and the acetone dried white immediately upon hitting the air! Yeah, it hurt! The rest of it was kinda a long painful process as I watched him do what seemed like extra steps to finish dipping my nails! By the time I finally done I had coloring on a couple fingers and not just on my nails, 2 cuts, at which one is now infected a day later and nails that still didn't look or feel like they were completely finished. I went to this place mostly because out of all the salons I could find in this area, it was the only one that LOOKED nice. The people were nice at least just not sure why they do such bad work. Literally only giving a 1 star because I have to to leave a review. This lady completely slaughtered my fingers. After she saw me bleeding she took the cuticle cutters to herself to make herself bleed?! It was SO bizarre.... but yeah, it's been two days later and I'm still in throbbing pain. Sadly, I was running late and this was the only nail salon in Augusta that was still open. I would NOT recommend this place. The staff seems unfriendly and disinterested. When she "massaged" my legs, she left tons of low-quality lotion on me. I asked for the towel to wipe it off, she gave me attitude and started to rub it in. At this point, it had dried on my legs and left a gross film that I tried to scrub off with the towel. The polish selection was mostly repeats of the same color too. When she filed my nails, she used a rough gauge file that left my edges rough. When she went to put the polish on, I asked her to file the rough edges first. She gave me more attitude and used the same file again. My face must have shown my annoyance because she switched to the buffing file and asked if that was better. For $25 for a basic pedicure, I cannot say this place is worth it. read more

To anybody that comes here, RUN AWAY QUICKLY. This place is awful every single time I come here, and if I could give a 0 star I would. Now, you may be asking, "why do you keep going if it's awful?". Because it's the only place in all Augusta who isn't booked for 2 weeks straight. Almost all of Augusta's nails salons are awful and do not have good looks. I think I've came to CD nails in Augusta about 4 times. I think every single time I've come here, I bawl my eyes out in my car because my fingers get cut up and burned with acetone. Took my two children here, was quoted a price of $45 for an acrylic set. We got nothing extra and price changed from $45 a set to $75 a set. Upon leaving i refused to pay the additional $35 a set. My child was assaulted by the owner, grabbed by the shoulder and told she was going to take both kids back and cut their nails off. I told my kids to go to the car, lady continues to scream and yell. I pay her $100 bucks and call the police. She is lucky we didn't press charges for assault. read more

Had SNS done on a Friday and it started peeling on Saturday. Then the polish started to chip on Sunday. I returned on Tuesday (because Monday was a holiday) and was told no one was there to fix it. I returned again on Thursday and was told he's too busy-an hour wait. I left! I'm mad!! I wished I'd asked for my money back! Never going there again. They're rude, rough, and just uncaring. after finding out my regular salon was temporarily closed I came here as a walk in. as soon I as I walked in I became stressed out. to start, the nail tech was rushing me to pick a color. while putting an acrylic set on he made my finger bleed and became irritated when he needed to stop and get something for it. when he went to go paint my nails the bottle was empty and he made it out to be my fault I picked an empty one? after I picked out a different color one nail got messed up after he was throwing my hands everywhere. He then held up the messed up nail and started yelling "You messed it up, see this, you messed it up" which was pretty embarrassing. after that we both wanted the service to be over and he was an all around jerk read more

I went here for a shellac manicure. The one who removed my existing shellac was so rough that I was hurting by the time she was done. Then the second woman that did the rest of it was rude when I said I wanted my nails square. She also put so many layers of polish that it looked ridiculous. She also covered a bit of my cuticle, so I had this weird ridge of polish/shellac when it started to grow out. It would catch on everything. It feels more like an institution than a salon. This is the worst place I have ever been for a manicure and pedicure. I dont have acrylic nail but he still ground my nail beds even when I told him to stop. What a mess. You dont get what you pay for, even the women sitting next to me said to the women giving her a pedicure "I thought the package in paid for came with a massage?" The women replied with "I gave you a massage, it must have been while you were asleep." The other women said "I did not fall asleep and I would remember if I got the massage." Giving one star is being generous. This place is not very clean, they don't use clean tools or even towels. The manicures are sloppy and get chips after two days. The only good thing about the place is the pedicures, even if the sanitation is questionable. Definitely will not be back for a manicure. read more

I have been going here for several months. I always do acrylic nails and acrylic color tips( basically clear acrylic then they use a pink cutter to cut the formation of the tip into the acrylic and then fill the space left with the color I choose) I get a different color every time I do my nails. This time the tech. Didn't fully grind off my previous set before starting the new set. My old set is clearly visible under the new, he didn't use enough color to cover the sides on several nails, they're too long (he didn't even ask me how long I wanted) to the point I can see my real nail tip through the acrylic, there are bubble in it and I can see the previous color still in several spots. I brought it to the owner, amy's, attention at which point she raised her voice to me and told me that there is nothing they can do and that it's normal to see the old acrylics under the new. No. It is absolutely NOT normal. They refused to refund my 50$ and refused to fix it. I will NEVER use this place again. read more

I have been going for a while here because it is well priced and convenient. They treat people horrible! They are rough, barely talk to you, and barely can speak any english! I have got cut a couple times and they don't say sorry they just pour alcohol on your cut. I got an infection on one of my toes from a pedicure. My mom also got a infection on her finger when having artificial nails put on. This place is very dirty and all the workers live in a house together from different states and have families from a different country. The owners own two other places in Augusta. They own Top Nail and Davi Nails in the Augusta Walmart. Beware and don't waste your money! read more

They did a terrible job on a fresh set of nails...the manicurist made then square after I asked for oval, then wanted to charge me an extra $5 because they were longer than normal I guess?? I told her then to cut them....she refused!! You could see the polish from the previous nails and she kept telling me it was from the fill....this was not a fill it was the red polish I had before she started and was too lazy to take it completely off....so I asked her to just paint them instead of leaving them plain bc they looked terrible and Valentine's Day was coming....the owner said I was just trying to cause trouble bc they were busy!!! I advised just wanted a nice looking set of nails for my vacation/valentines week!!! She stated if I wanted the nails painted it would be another $15 ...I advised to just let me pay and I would go somewhere else for now on !!!!! I went here when I first got my acrylics on and they cut me, misshaped my nails and gave me the wrong color. They wanted to charge me extra to fix the color and re apply the tips so I paid and left. I will NEVER go to this place again!! WORST customer service I have ever had at a nail salon in my life. I was trying to pick a color out and the lady yelled at me and said "hurry up! I have other customers waiting" am I not a customer?? Way to make me feel important. The older lady that was doing my nails was extremely rude to me and treated me as if I was stupid just because I was asking her about French nails because I had never gotten them done like that before. I had to kill time while in the Augusta plaza so I went here to get shellac replaced on my nails. The gentleman who did my nails was AWFUL. He painted almost as much of my finger as the nail and because it is shellac my nails stuck to my skin. He made the tips very thin so they will look even worse in less than a week. I wish I could give negative stars... it was that bad. Cannot even describe how TERRIBLE the experience was. Extremely uncaring with your hands (he jerked my hands around), didn't clean up cuticles at all and I ended up with nothing like what I asked for (asked for gel manicure and they chopped my nails and put acrylics on). I paid $45 even tho I asked for $27 service. I came back an hour later to have them shortened because I hated them and was yelled at by two staff members to the point I went to my car in tears. i had to get my acrylic nails fixed, because they were so badly shaped and the lady that did them basically forced me to get pink. when i came back to get them fixed (at no charge, because they were so bad) they did an okay job. I get angry every time I look at my nails. The guy that did my nails was on his phone texting and calling in between filing and painting my nails. He lost track of what he was doing at one point.
