Nicole did an amazing job with a cut and style that made me feel like I was ready for a night on the town, yet it was so easy to take care of, too. She was friendly and had a great sense of humor. When she had to answer the phone for business, I did not take it personally. It's a small shop in a northern New England town...another aspect I appreciated. Everyone who came in while I was there was made to feel so welcome, and it was apparent that Nicole and Penny really take the time to personalize their services. I was in Maine on vacation with my family and looking for a Barber Shop, happened to stumble across this little shop. Considering I had no appointment, was pleasantly surprised to be able to get my nephews haircut despite how busy it was. Wait time was minimal, customer service was warm and friendly. Just wanted to leave a shout out to Nicole especially, as she was obviously passionate about what she did! She greeted my nephew with humor and made a 15 year old feel comfortable and we all know that's near impossible! Great haircut, exactly what he wanted! Best haircuts in Central Maine! I am a Veteran and am very particular about my hair cuts, I can honestly say they do the best fade I have gotten since getting out of the Army. Both Nicole and Penny are consummate professional's and their business is very consumer friendly! One of the features that I love is that you can text them to see their availabilities and set up appointments, it's very quick and efficient. They are fairly priced as well. Make sure to call ahead, because they serve most of the military/law enforcement/general population in the Augusta and greater Augusta area. 10 out of 10 would recommend going here! read more

Wow im really surprised about the negative review about nicole. I go there all the time and have nothing but top notch service and cuts. It is a small shop so yes during a cut nicole has checked and answered her phone but that is a shop line not a personal line. The Barbers there would never be attending to personal business while cutting someones hair in my experience.
