Walked in for a pedicure only after seeing the previous reviews. They saw my fingernails and I decided to go ahead and let them do them. Maybe someone else should make my decisions for me because that was a poor decision! To begin with, I have dipping powder gel on and thought they would, like all other salons I've been to, do the individual aluminum finger wraps while I was getting my pedicure, but that didn't happen. (Btw- the pedicure was actually good) After the pedicure was done, I went to sit at his table and he began to dremel file down my dipping powder gel like normal, except he went too far on one of my fingers and filed pretty deep into my nail bed. After that was the worst part!!! He went and got a bowl of water, microwaved it till it was boiling, places that in front of me and then got another bowl with a paper towel in it and put some acetone in it and then put that bowl nesting inside the hot water bowl. I was to put my fingers in the top bowl of acetone to soak. As I sat there it began to get hot. And hotter. And so hot I had to take my fingers out a couple of times while he was off wandering around the shop. One of the times I took my fingers out I could see bubble from under the paper towel that was in the bottom of the bowl!! Yeah I was boiling my fingers in acetone!! When he finally let me be finished my fingers were red and the acetone dried white immediately upon hitting the air! Yeah, it hurt! The rest of it was kinda a long painful process as I watched him do what seemed like extra steps to finish dipping my nails! By the time I finally done I had coloring on a couple fingers and not just on my nails, 2 cuts, at which one is now infected a day later and nails that still didn't look or feel like they were completely finished. I went to this place mostly because out of all the salons I could find in this area, it was the only one that LOOKED nice. The people were nice at least just not sure why they do such bad work. And when I look at the other yelp reviews, I'm not the only one that thinks this. read more

I was charged 70 dollars for the shortest and worst set of my life, my nails are all different shapes and sizes. When i mentioned the quality of my nails to the lady who runs the salon she brought over the man who did them and they just kept on coming up with lies, for instance.. my nails are SHORT and a solid color. He tried telling her he charged me 70 because he did long nails and French tips. The technician cut my nails way too short- painfully so. I asked for no polish, which they didn't like. Eventually they agreed I'd get no polish, but the tech really dragged out the process so they could charge me $50 for a no polish pedi. Then charged me a credit card fee. If I could give zero stars I would. Totally disappointed! I had scheduled 3 natural manis and pedis for two birthdays. 1 was a 6 yo child. We walked in and a woman started very loudly telling us to "pick out your color", "go sit down", "Gel lasts longer". I was not going to put gel on a 6yo so she was taking her time to pick out a special color for her party. As the 2 adults were finishing up their pedis, the child was just getting started. The same "loud" woman was trying to hurry us to the mani stations. I went, but the other adult wasn't quite done. When she was done she was asked to go around the corner to her mani station. She said she was not leaving her child unattended and the woman was rude to her. The same woman slapped on some polish on her, the 6yo's, toes and fingers. She was done with both before I was too far into my manicure. I thought well maybe they just did it so she could feel special and that they were not going to charge me for her. Unfortunately the other adult (her mom) was turned off and refused to get a mani because that would have left her daughter drying her polish by herself. I then heard the loud lady tell the very nice woman who was doing my mani that it would be $180.00. Wait... for 3 pedis (1 child with slapped on polish) and 2 manis (1 child with slapped on polish?) I looked up at the price board and questioned the woman. She told me "those are 30 year old prices" and proceeded to continue to tell me over and over. I said, "fine" after the 3rd time of her saying that as I did not want my grandbaby and daughter-in-law to feel bad.... In the end I paid the money. I left feeling angry and a bit sad that they did not have a good birthday experience. In the end, after the child was under the dryer for 30 mins waiting for me, her nails were nicked before we even got to the the care. She was crushed! And then less than 24 hours later my mani was peeling and chipped. A total rip off and strongly advise anyone to find someplace else to get their nails done. I am so disappointed in this business. I have gone several times over the years and they were fine. Yesterday I went in for a pedicure. As the water was filling the tub I put my feet in. It was way too hot and actively hurt - not "felt a little uncomfortable", full on HURT. I mentioned this about 5 times to the tech and she just kept saying "five minutes, soak five minutes". I kept saying "too hot, it hurts". After going back and forth for a while I quietly said "I'm going to go" I am an interpreter who grew up in a multi-cultural home. I fully understand how ridiculous English is as a language. Having said that I don't think it's unreasonable to understand what I said. I can't be the first person who said this, and I'm sure it's frequent enough to hear the English word. I'm not going someplace where they are going to hurt me unnecessarily. This nail salon I've reviewed before has been a nightmare. They've cut me and my best friend multiple times during nail services. One time, the acrylic product they used got into our skin and burned for days, causing an infection in my best friend. The other day, I visited a different salon, and the acrylic product they used for acrylics stayed on my nails. We had to steam them off four times to remove it. My nails were severely damaged and thin, despite my usual nail care routine. I have had to remove acrylic fully and cut my nails short for proper recovery. Giving CD Nails 3 stars only because of one nail tech Susan who always provided exceptional service! The last 4 visits I had an appointment but the owner said I booked the wrong day, didn't have me on the books or Susan was busy with another client and to have one of the men provide service or come back. The stress level is at the top and flows down to the techs and ultimately the customers feel the vibe. So sorry to loose Susan, but I had no other choice to move to new nail spa. Pedicure was nice but massage wasn't great. Then ,Amy did my nails . She was friendly . I asked for just one (1) nail to be painted leopard print and she quickly told me my nails weren't the right size for that . ‍It was obvious she didn't want the hassle of painting art on it . She seemed very rushed . The nail tips were shaped nice but the finished product was a little chunky looking . The reason for 2 stars is that they lifted after only 3 days ! (I am not rough on my nails at all. No chemicals , etc.) By day 7 I'd lost 4 of them . I paid up and got low quality . Can't recommend and won't be back. I can't believe that this place isn't shut down! The owner is soooo rude and should not be running a business and instead be in prison for the way she speaks to people as well as assaulting some customers. I came in for a full set. I walked in today to do a dip color change. I can understand why they had immediate availability because if you've been to this place once you will never go back. I asked to see the colors of the dip and was referred to 100+ bottle to open individually. I would definitely not recommend this nail salon at all! If I could rate this a 0 I would. They did such a terrible job, I asked for a certain design they said they could do it, and they gave me a completely different design. The nail techs didn't talk to you and all of the techs would talk to themselves. I was trying to explain the nail design was not what I wanted and then he called me stupid! The acrylic nails I got started falling off in a week and they were not supposed to do that. I visited this salon with my daughter 5/30/24. I had a manicure and a pedicure, and my daughter got a full set of acrylics. My daughters nails were done very poorly. They were all different shapes and different thicknesses. She showed the technician (who was also the manager) a picture of what she wanted, and was given something completely different. The polish in the bottle was not the same as the color on the label, and she started yelling at my daughter when she brought up the concern. I was charged an extra fee for using my credit card without my knowledge. When I complained to the manager, she said it was my daughters fault and that she should have spoken up. She tried and was yelled at by her! She had her nails completely redone by another technician that was clearly embarrassed by the manager. To make matters worse, the manager then proceeded to complain to her next customer about us for 15 minutes. Another customer that was there at the same time was charged more than she was quoted and left in tears because her nails looked so bad. We will NEVER return to this salon. The manager "wins" by yelling and telling the CUSTOMER THEY ARE WRONG. No surprise either that nobody responded to my "survey" I completed about my experience. read more

My mother and I went for a daughter date and it was lovely. Not everyone can communicate well in English, and there is an obvious cultural difference that can make service appear rude to us with how direct they are- BUT our service was good and our nail technicians were engaging and considerate. WHATEVER YOU DO . DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON . On one hand every finger nail shape is different and then the other hand is decent . This was the worst nail place . Started with what I believe to be the boss AMY . Yelling at her employee over and over again telling her she didn't have the right tools To do my nails so she said she would help me then proceeds to take atleast 25 phone calls while doing my nails making my nail appt for a "FILL" take an hr and a half , she had to audacity to COUGH into her hand say "sorry" and proceeded to do my nails , didn't wash her hands or sanitize! She also cut her OWN cuticle while doing mine and then went right back to doing mine . I watched multiple people walk in and out for a fill. She then said this was a long Length and proceeded to charge me $65 when a girl got a fill and came in after me and left before me paid $45 .. at the end I told her one hand looks completely different she then flipped out and keep going on . LISTEN I don't mind paying $100 if it looks Good !!! But this looks crazy and the only reason why one hand looks good ! It was extremely busy when I walked in and there was some slight miscommunication about which seat to go to. Once I sat down in the correct pedicure chair the technicians played musical chairs throughout the process. At first it felt very much like I was a product on a factory line. Again, they were VERY busy. Once things calmed down a bit it was a much more enjoyable experience. The lady who did my pedicure took her time and it looks great. I told him I wanted a light lilac color and they came out pinky-clear and glittery. Said if you don't like it it's free....still had to pay. Ended up going to Walmart and painting over my nails. 1 day later I have two nails that are shattered. Need to go get them fixed before a wedding tomorrow.... We called and made an appointment 3 pedicures as a small group for my wife's birthday. We arrived on time, and as is typical with these places we struggles with the language barrier, but found our way to the massage chairs where they filled the foot tub and quickly ignored us. After about 20 min they began with my wife's feet, and informed us that the price is 40$ each unless you want lotion, then it's 50$ (their Facebook says 25$) nobody every started on the other 2 of us. They finished with my wife, then put her shoes on her, and told her she was done and had to leave the chair. I explained that we are here together as a birthday group, and I was told "sorry we need the chair, she can wait separate out front" I let them know this was not acceptable, and we paid the 50$ for the one "$25" pedicure and walked out. The technician that my wife and daughter went to was fantastic, it was the manager that was HORRENDOUS. They weren't told beforehand that the business only accepts cash, which wouldn't have been an issue, except that the manager then bullied and berated my wife for 'not having a Mastercard' when they wouldn't accept discover. Then further, the manager wouldn't allow them to leave and get cash, not even when offering to leave something as collateral. Instead, they detained my wife and five year old daughter and made them contact me to pull out cash for the payment. Absolutely unacceptable. DO NOT GO HERE. My husband and I came here to get pedicures on a Friday morning. We walked in and they immediately asked us how they could help and had me pick out my color. We had to wait for about 10 minutes before they were ready for us. They filled the tubs and told us to go sit, unfortunately for me my water was scolding hot, I had them fill it with some cold water but it didn't help. My husband waited another 10-15 minutes before they started on him and I waited closer to 20. A young boy did my toes and he was nice, but I don't think he did everything that was supposed to come with my pedicure. My husband and I asked for the same pedicure and got 2 different ones. !! PLEASE READ!!!!!! If I could give no stars I would, but had to give 1 star to leave a review. This is the worst establishment I have ever seen. I came into this salon after realizing my normal salon was closed, I've been here before and had a bad experience but figured I'd give it a second chance, since I really needed a fill. The salon was extremely filthy, and the owner Amy, was doing my nails and ripped one of my acrylics off while filing them. She then told me she needed to take them all off because I would look better. I asked her if she would be charging me more than the initial $45 (for a fill since I had all of my acrylics on )and she said she wouldn't charge more. She then proceeded to rip all of my acrylic nails off dry with a plastic nail tip!!! without soaking them off first... I was in pain, and my nails were extremely damaged after. She then, starting buffing my nails with the electric drill and caught the nerves, causing extreme pain. After putting on the tips and cutting them down a bit she asked if the length was okay, I asked her to make them a bit shorter since I type on a computer for a living. She told me she would shorten them a bit after applying the acrylic to the nails. I thought this was odd, but I let her continue as I was too shy to say anything at this time, even though I was MORTIFIED. After applying the acrylic she asked me if the length was okay and I asked her once again if she could cut them shorter and she began SCREAMING at me that it was "TOO LATE" over and over. I began to get anxiety and I just wanted her to be done. She continued to paint my nails and harass me and yell saying" DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I SAY" over 10 times. I began having a panic attack but tried to stay calm as I was alone. After the polish was done I look at the nails and was horrified about what they looked like, there was bubbles, uneven etc. she did NO after polish acetone, cuticle care or anything!!! She then tried charging me $70!!!! claiming that she told me that i would be paying for a full set+ removal!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! I refused this price politely and explained that I asked her if she would charge me more. And the sloppy job etc. Amy then says "I pay 70 or I call the police" and begins shouting at me loudly..I then began to walk outside to take a deep breathe as I was having a panic attack and then she ASSAULTS me!!!!! She grabbed ahold of me and pulls me back into the salon, refusing to let me leave from the main door.I managed to find an alternative door and ran for safety as I was truly in fear.
