Don't go here if you're looking for a decent nail salon. The costumer service was very nice but overall in terms of their technique and how advance their employees are able to do people's nails. I was not pleased at all. The floors are dirty they don't clean their tools; not a welcoming salon the music was off, the tv's were off just a bad vibe from the store. I also realized throughout my stay there wasn't a lot of costumers coming by maybe two when I was there for 2 hours. Do not go here. Incredibly unsanitary. Staff was friendly enough, but they don't sanitize tools after use, just rinsed under water. My friend and I were going out to get our nails done and went to the place right next Hannaford (star nails). We walked in and there was a wait, and the place didn't seem very welcoming. We looked at other places nearby and decided to walk over to C&T, thankfully we did! We walked in and it was very bright, big and welcoming. We didn't have an appointment and they helped us immediately. We wanted to get dip, but the gentleman there talked us out of it and into something else that was better and cheaper for our nails. He then proceeded to tell us that if we didn't like it when they were done it would be free! I happened to break one of my nails before coming in (great timing, right?) and the lady filing my nails did cut my finger, but it's okay. Did not enjoy my experience here. I went in for an acrylic removal and from the start the process was bad. It hurt as they were filed and then ripped off, no acetone soaking at all. Then I got a gel manicure, and as soon as I went home, (within the same 10 minutes) the gel began peeling off my. First both thumbs, then pinky. I knew this would happen as the bottom coat was not done precisely and spilled over onto my cuticles and skin. The environment was awkward and when I did try to make it was shut down and responded to with "I know" and then ignored. So we set up an appointment for three for 6pm. Were asked to wait outside due to the restrictions of only 5 customers at a time and that they would let us know when they were ready for us. Multiple other customers arrived after us and were also told to wait outside. While waiting, a woman who had her nails done the day before showed us that she was coming back to get it fixed as the shellac on half of her nails was gone. They allowed two people who showed up after us in. Then at 6:35 there was 7 people waiting. Noticing that the place closed at 7, I inquired about the wait and was told to come back tomorrow, that they close at 7. What a horrible way to run a business. I hope you don't come here to relax, and if you do, you better make it on a day that the owners don't bring their son into the salon with them. He is 5 years old and has a collection of 20+ toy guns and has a terrible habit or ripping toys out of other children's hands. My son lost the toys he brought into the salon as a result of Ben taking them and hiding them. The actual pedicure itself I received was terrible. My toes were not even shaped at all and the paint job was awful. I was too distracted by the chaos caused by the owners son to notice until we left. I know the proper thing is to not bring your children with you but I also don't think it is proper to bring your child in to work with you if he is going to steal other kids toys and rip toys out of their hands. Wish I'd read the reviews before dishing out $33 bucks here for a subpar gel manicure. On the plus side, they were super nice and the place was empty,but now I know why. This is the first time a gel manicure has EVER chipped literally within hours of application. I'm new to the area. I went in once for a pedi- the girl was rough and hurt me multiple times. I went in again for a mani- the man filed my natural nails down to nothing- and they were crooked. Third time- I don't know why! But I tried again. The man put a set of nails on. He cut me 4 times- I bled every time- he snapped at me not to pull back. I said, "you cut me!" He said, "yes yes- sorry 'bout that." The nails were too short, crooked, and lumpy! Horrible awful experience. C&T is a must try - if not a must go to regularly. My mom and I went in to get pedicures. No appointment needed, we were able to walk in and get greeted warmly and services right away. I got the stone massage. The owner did my mom's pedicure and another gentleman did mine. They were both very professional, polite and personable. It was actually quite a refreshing change to get a pedicure and be able to have a pleasant, on-going conversation with the person doing it. The salon was clean. They took their time and did a very thorough job. I got the scrub, callus shaving, mask, hot stones and massage. It was WELL WORTH IT! In California I'd pay a lot more and would have been rushed through. That was not the case here. The massage chairs were also good. They also did not try to upsell me into anything - that always happens elsewhere and is a huge pet peeve of mine. I will definitely be going back here when I'm home visiting. Not great. Got a pedicure with hot stone massage and a pink and white fill. The pedicure was rushed, the stones were too hot for even the manicurist to touch. The polish looks terrible. She didn't paint the whole nail and there's polish on my toes around my toenails. AND vallus remover was part of my package and she didn't even do it. My feet still feel like sand paper. My nails actually look pretty good. No real complaints there except that the acrylic is a little too thick for my liking. read more

Took them two hours to do my acrylics.. she put the fake nails on, went to cut them down and they were popping off since she didn't secure them and they weren't the right size. Was an older lady. Didn't speak at all. She was very rude. Got these on Sunday and they are already popping off on Monday!!! They have air bubbles under them and are peeling up. Worst acrylics I've ever gotten. I got there and they told me to pick some colors so I did. I had glue on nails that I needed to come off and the lady was so extremely rough with my hands and fingers it hurt very badly. She did not say a word to me accept for what shape I wanted. I said almond shape. When she was cutting them she made them horribly lopsided but I was trusting the process in hopes she would fix them when they get filed... she did not she made them worse. And when laying the acrylic stuff on my nail, she payed no attention to how it looked. When looking at them from a side there is a dip in all the nails and it looks and feels horrible. I also noticed that she did not clean or sanitize her station or tools directly after the person before me which is gross. She never asked if I liked them or anything i just sat there regretting coming to this nail salon. I asked for shorter but she did not listen. I have seen my friend get her nails done here before and i was disappointed for her they looked horrible. She also came with me and when she got done I asked her why she doesn't have the design she wanted and she told me here lady said no to her and that it was too hard, even thought it was a couple dots that she wanted... overall this place was horrible and I do not recommend coming here at all. read more

The guy who did my mani-pedi was very nice but he said it was his first day and that he was previously in construction.. which i wish i knew before he started doing my nails. He was very rushed doing my pedicure and he got polish over my skin and didn't take any dead skin off. He was very weak pushing my cuticles back and barely took any dead skin off. He never cleaned under my nails. He put lotion on my hands before he even started and then he made me wash off the lotion? I recently got a regular pedicure and gel manicure here. The pedicure was great- the woman who did it was wonderful. A different person did my manicure and the experience wasn't great. He started my filing off my old gel polish- and it REALLY hurt. I've had many gel manicures (1x/month) and I've never had someone so aggressively file off my old polish before. My nails were sore the next day. I had to ask him twice to cut my nails shorter and both times he was very annoyed with my request. The actual manicure wasn't that great- the edges were bumpy and the polish on on my cuticles which I knew would create problems as soon as my nails grew out. After about a week, the polish is chipping and peeling. I don't live in the area so I wont be back- but some of their staff needs better training. read more

This place is awful! I don't usually do reviews because everyone has their own opinions but this place is actually dangerous.. I was there for 1 1/2 hours getting a fill with shellac and then spent another 20 mins on top of that trying to get a flower on one of my nails and I had the guy take it off half way through one of the nails because it just wasn't looking good at all. I told him to just do dots because they are cute and easy, so he did. I gave a tip, paid and left. When I got in the car 2 of my nails were lifting already. I went back in and showed them what what going on and asked them if I came back later could they fix it (my daughter is 2 and was being fussy so we had to get her home to nap) they said no NOW, and I couldn't be there any longer so I just asked for my money back because I was going to need to go get them fixed. The owner said in order to get my money back they needed to take them off... So he got out the drill...I stopped him after 3 nails because he was drilling my actual finger! Never had this happen before... Come to find out the guy who drilled them off isn't a licensed nail tech! I have pictures but it won't let me post pictures. Eh acrylics were done okish i guess. sometimes they were done sloppy and the people were rough with the tools and even burned me. But I got them taken off on this Sunday night and got my regular nails paint. My nails are so thin and filed between the acrylics and the woman doing them. They started chipping IN THE SAME NIGHT I got them done and I literally did nothing after then go home and go to sleep. How the heck is that even possible. So now that my nails are thin the ends are all broken and bendy, one so much you can see pink new skin and it's very sore and hurt really bad.. Not getting acrylics again nor will I be paying or tipping there again for my nails to chip the same damn night I could have done a better job. That woman didn't deserve the tip I gave her and if I had time to go back to get them fixed I would but I'm to busy with school and no fixing them now they are literally Dead and unfixable.
