Even when I load up my basket without any assistance and go to the checkout I feel like I'm imposing on the elderly checkout lady. She's obviously unhappy to be working but she should try smiling or pretend to be nice. Don't scold a customer for bringing in a paper coupon instead of using his phone. Not reserved so I took son to hit with coach pitch and team had reserved for the afternoon well advance of before my call. Wasted 1 hour in the car. Worst part was Rock or his helpers did not ask if we needed any help, stood for 10 minutes at batting desk with no help and we basically begged to get response. Ok poor service but since I am there I may as well have a bat gripped. Grip was incorrectly put on bat by person who was reading instructions wow not going back to this place after visiting there at least 30 times

While their selection was limited due to it being the off-season and changeover for next season's new models, staff was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I learned a lot about the different styles of kayaks, paddles and personal flotation devices (PFDs). I walked away with considerable knowledge to weigh my options before making a commitment. They also offer classes and instruction on water safety and skills enhancement. Highly recommend visiting!

I walked in (of course everybody here is always welcoming and professional) and when I saw the newest gear inventory, I knew I was in trouble lol. Seriously, the product lineup they have and their ability to provide well rounded kit customization and just overalltailored solutions is remarkable (I'm still kind of surprised they don't have massive egos in sucha high quality shop). So yes, Maverick Tactical is still holding strong as the store within Burlington (likely all of North Carolina), with the coolest stuff in house and available to purchase. The team here is very knowledgeable on their own products and the products they source, they're honest to a fault (everything here is high quality but maybe it comes from overseas, maybe it's American made, they're gonna let you know. As a customer that transparency matters. They're creative without overselling to you and the prices are totally reasonable throughout. I can't say enough good stuff about a tactical shop that truly has its customers in mind!
