Love the high end product at lower prices!…read more We picked up my husband 2 new pairs of dress shoes for work for around $200 each, originally around $400-450. Salesman was awesome at helping us.

Allen-Edmonds is one of the last American-made shoe brands. Their high-quality men's dress and…read morecasual shoes sell for premium prices at leading retailers all over the world. Allen-Edmonds prides itself on having a wide variety of sizes and widths, a rarity in this day and age. The Allen-Edmonds Company Shoe Store in Mebane, located in the Tanger Factory Outlet Center off I-85/40, is among a handful of company-owned locations that sell overstock, discontinued, and slightly imperfect shoes from the collection at a discount, as well as the entire full-price collection. There are also belts and accessories from Allen-Edmonds, Woodlore, Vineyard Vines and other brands. If you like shoes, you're really going to like this place. Discount Allen-Edmonds shoes are still a bit pricey, but the savings off regular retail are substantial. Service is every bit as good as a full-priced retail store, if not better. If a shoe isn't available in-store, the sales associates will track it down for you and send it right to your doorstep for a nominal shipping charge. The annual tent sale takes the discounts to a whole new level. Each year, unsold stock from all over the Allen-Edmonds retail network lands in Burlington for two weeks, with big savings and a massive selection to choose from. I've fallen in love with this store (eight pairs in five years and counting) and if you like shoes, I think you will too.

I work construction, was in need of a new pair of steel toe work boots. In the past I have went to…read morevarious other boot barns to buy boots, Greenville SC, Charleston SC, just to name others that I have bought from. Usually spend $200 on a pair of boots sometime buy a pair of socks to go with the boots. When I got to the store the store manager came over for about 2 minutes asked what I was looking for I explained the need for work boots, and steel toe boots. I looked for over 45 minutes while my wife went to another location and returned with no assistance. No one spoke to me for the duration. I found a pair of boots that seemed to be comfortable and filled my needs. Went to to cashier where Nichole the store manager was working and told her why I was buying the boots and my specifications that they had to have steel or composite toes, and I and my wife were told by Nichole that it was all good that I could return the boots within 30 days no problem. I wore the boots to work on Monday and by noon my feet were killing me. I wore the boots for a 10 hr shift and then the hour drive back to my camper. The next day I wore my old work boots as I could not even get my foot into the "new" ones. Wednesday I wore the boots back to work by quitting time my feet were killing me again, so I thought the cashier said I could bring them back, so I thought that I would get me a different kind of work boot then maybe pay a little more and get some that fit the bill better. Oh did I mention that Wednesday is also when I found out that the boots that I had purchased were not safety toe boots at all so I cannot wear them to work anyway. Well I returned to this local, went in and explained to ms. Nichole that I would like to return the boots and pay a little more to get a different pair, I was then told that they would not take them because they had been worn and were dusty, 2 days before I could bring them back for 30 days. I will not return to boot barn, I will not suggest anyone looking for work boots to go to boot barn, the boots that I have tried on there were very uncomfortable, and this locale I will never set foot in again I wish the best for Nichole, and boot barn, they will never have to worry about servicing me or receiving money for anything from me, and for anyone looking to buy something from boot barn I would suggest going to a different locale, like Charlotte or Winston Salem or Raleigh Edit: Natalie one of the co-managers called me the next day and offered to return the shoes in exchange for another pair and 15% off anything. Changed the star rating for this we will see how it turns out.

I've shopped at this location a few times and have been happy with the clothing that I have bought…read more I recently bought a dress online and when it arrived, it was a thin material and not a good quality. I returned it to the Burlington location and only received a portion of what I paid online with an explanation by the manager to call customer service. I returned the dress within a week of buying. Not a good experience and to top it off, I was given the wrong customer service number. Will not be returning online or otherwise.
