I've shopped at this location a few times and have been happy with the clothing that I have bought. I recently bought a dress online and when it arrived, it was a thin material and not a good quality. I returned it to the Burlington location and only received a portion of what I paid online with an explanation by the manager to call customer service. I returned the dress within a week of buying. Not a good experience and to top it off, I was given the wrong customer service number. Will not be returning online or otherwise. read more

Absolutely disturbing how disorganized this store is. IF you're looking for your size in something and can't find it, just check the floor. Seems that's where they keep all the extra stock. I work construction, was in need of a new pair of steel toe work boots. In the past I have went to various other boot barns to buy boots, Greenville SC, Charleston SC, just to name others that I have bought from. Usually spend $200 on a pair of boots sometime buy a pair of socks to go with the boots. When I got to the store the store manager came over for about 2 minutes asked what I was looking for I explained the need for work boots, and steel toe boots. I looked for over 45 minutes while my wife went to another location and returned with no assistance. No one spoke to me for the duration. I found a pair of boots that seemed to be comfortable and filled my needs. Went to to cashier where Nichole the store manager was working and told her why I was buying the boots and my specifications that they had to have steel or composite toes, and I and my wife were told by Nichole that it was all good that I could return the boots within 30 days no problem. I wore the boots to work on Monday and by noon my feet were killing me. I wore the boots for a 10 hr shift and then the hour drive back to my camper. The next day I wore my old work boots as I could not even get my foot into the "new" ones. Wednesday I wore the boots back to work by quitting time my feet were killing me again, so I thought the cashier said I could bring them back, so I thought that I would get me a different kind of work boot then maybe pay a little more and get some that fit the bill better. Oh did I mention that Wednesday is also when I found out that the boots that I had purchased were not safety toe boots at all so I cannot wear them to work anyway. Well I returned to this local, went in and explained to ms. Nichole that I would like to return the boots and pay a little more to get a different pair, I was then told that they would not take them because they had been worn and were dusty, 2 days before I could bring them back for 30 days. I will not return to boot barn, I will not suggest anyone looking for work boots to go to boot barn, the boots that I have tried on there were very uncomfortable, and this locale I will never set foot in again I wish the best for Nichole, and boot barn, they will never have to worry about servicing me or receiving money for anything from me, and for anyone looking to buy something from boot barn I would suggest going to a different locale, like Charlotte or Winston Salem or Raleigh Edit: Natalie one of the co-managers called me the next day and offered to return the shoes in exchange for another pair and 15% off anything. Changed the star rating for this we will see how it turns out. read more

The Mr. needed a new pair of boots, so we drove all the way out to Burlington. We went on this journey so he could try on some unfamiliar brands instead of ordering online. The store is slam packed with jeans, boots, cowboy hats, funky leather bracelets, toys, wallets. They even had a little kid section with adorable baby Wrangler bloomers. They had a nice selection of men's work and western boots. After trying on a few different brands he decided the Double-H's were his favorite. Plus they are made in the good ole USA. The salesman, Bradley, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also recommended the Jason Aldean jeans. I highly recommend to you guys out there trying to show off a little booty. They are great jeans, not too tight, not too loose, with a little bit of stretch. Go check it out guys and gals you won't be disappointed! read more

Yesterday me and my adult children went into Boot Barn In Winston-Salem to purchase boots for my hunny's 55th Western party. We are 3 African Americans and the only black people in the store at that time. We were followed around by several employees to the point , one of the employees almost ran on the back of my heels, because he was just that close. I turned around and asked, 2 of the white males " why are you following us around, we are black and shopping". They both just stood there looking silly like the too big hat , one of them was wearing. District managers, store managers and all of your employees...take a Cultural/Diversity training!!. News flash....Black people wear cowboy boots too. It's one thing to be helpful but it's racist and harassing to be followed around step by step. This is the second Boot Barn i have encountered this racist behavior.... You are losing money because of your taught and learned behavior. Train up, so your workers can boot up their customer service... Joy read more
