It was actually the other way around (I ditched him to order food) because he knows I get very *HANGRY.* Communication was a bit rough at times. I wouldn't get a call back on the day Ramon Santana specified that he'd call us back. But I didn't get frustrated because eventually some younger folks - possibly his adult kids - started calling. We probably compared at least 50 swatches to get this right. Some Ramon had to ask his suppliers for more samples because McDreamee and I were so picky. Lol. It's a small shop. Ramon and his swell crew stay busy with headliners for older cars like ours and reupholstering chairs for dining tables and such. If Ramon doesn't have it in stock, he tries his hardest to find a match or something very close. The deal we got for the headliner alone was sweet - way more competitive than another place just up the road plus Santana's time frame was one business day. The other dudes wanted to keep the car for days. Our new headliner looks real sharp. McDreamee wants to go back for more work, but this was a priority. Dropped the car off at 10 a.m. and it was ready for pick-up by 2 p.m. the same day (8/22/19).
