I was a customer of this place at that time! And I was quoted for a $600 repair (after diagnostics) that turned out to be fixed by a different mechanic for $80. The reason I was reluctant to describe in more detail our experiences is because this is a small town and I didn't know what kind of awkwardness leaving a bad review may entail. Perhaps the other reviewer who left a 1-star, somewhat vague review felt the same way, as his/her words were very relatable to me (something like "make sure to ask around"). It was a very bad, early experience for us when we moved into the area, and I felt compelled to write this again, because we relied on online reviews to find out my way around and the owners were apparently able to get a lot of their negative reviews removed (both my review here and on Google Maps got removed). It was my fault not willing to speak more openly. The following is what I wrote before, just trying to caution people to be more careful. --- (circa. January 2020) I would be very very careful with the likely fake reviews for this business. I saw the 200+ reviews on Google Maps, all five stars. However, until a few months ago, it didn't even have a presence on Yelp. I've never seen such a large contrast between Google Maps and Yelp and such a large number of identical ratings. So I did a little digging, please see the pictures. The majority of the reviewers have only ever written one or two reviews. Guess what? Those who wrote two, one is to this business and the other apparently to a new location of the same owner, with identical text. I don't think a real person would have such a review pattern. The second location is newer but also has racked up a 30+ all five star reviews. ---

I had an absolutely horrible experience with this company. On March 13, I called to make an…read moreappointment for auto detailing. I spoke with Josh, president and owner of the company, and we were about to confirm an appointment for the following weekend when we got disconnected. I tried calling back multiple times, but I got no answer. So I tried texting to confirm the appointment for March 19, and I received a return text from Josh confirming that date. Then on March 14, I received a text message from Josh saying Saturday was not good after all and could I do either Thursday or Friday. He said he was "open all day and evening both days." I responded that I could do Thursday, anytime 5:30 or later. I never heard back, so on Thursday morning sent a text message to confirm; he texted back saying that that afternoon wouldn't work because there was a chance of rain. Fine. So we rescheduled for Tuesday, March 22 at 5:30pm. I left work early on March 22 to make the appointment; at 5:40 there's no sign of Josh. At 5:56, he calls me saying that one of his employees was in an accident with one of his trucks and the police called him and he was in West Springfield dealing with it. He was really apologetic, he assured me that this was not the norm for him, and told me he would make it up to me by doing extra detailing on my car.. I felt bad for him, and I told him "no problem, these things happen." We made an appointment for Thursday, March 24 at 4:30 p.m. (I told him I would leave work extra early because he had indicated it would be difficult for him to complete the job before dark). So Thursday afternoon I leave work, and as I'm leaving I see a text message from Josh that says, "I have bad news we had to cut Groupon off for pretty much lying and robbing us blind I can honor the sale price of 109 but can't redeem Groupon vouchers anymore." (I had a Groupon for the service). Since I was already on my way home, I figured I would just wait until Josh arrived at my house to discuss the Groupon/payment issue. 4:30 comes and goes, no Josh. I wait about ten minutes, still nothing, so I call to find out what's going on. He says that he's not honoring Groupon vouchers due to a dispute he has with Groupon; I suggested to him that if he has a problem with Groupon, or if he felt Groupon had misrepresented something to him, that's between him and Groupon. He continued to complain about Groupon and was adamant that he would not honor the Groupon voucher, so I asked if he could come do an interior-only detail for a discounted cash price (in light of the fact that the Groupon had already been purchased months ago). He said he would do that, but he was at a relative's house in East Longmeadow and would come over as soon as he could. I asked why he was in East Longmeadow at 4:45 when we had a 4:30 appointment in Springfield. Basically, he had unilaterally - and without telling me - decided to cancel our appointment due to the Groupon issue. But since I really wanted to get my car detailed, I said fine, please come over as soon as you can. He said he would, and told me he would call when he was on his way. And I waited around the entire evening, and....he never showed up. Nor did he even text or call to let me know he wasn't coming. In fact, I still haven't heard from him. Frustrated by this experience, I posted the following review on the business' Facebook page, which solicits reviews: "Awful customer service. Josh may do a good job on auto detailing, but I wouldn't know since I can't get him to show up for an appointment. There have been multiple last-minute reschedules and then last night just a complete no-show, without even a text or phone call to let me know he wasn't coming. I'll be taking my business elsewhere." A few days after posting my review, I received a message from Facebook stating that Facebook removed my post because it didn't follow Facebook's community standards. I don't see how that review was objectionable in any way, but I suspect Josh reported the review to Facebook and asked for it to be removed. So I decided to post a more complete review here where the company's owner won't be able to censor me.
