So I recently went back to him for some auto body work on my car that had scratches from where I rubbed up against an icy snow pile that was full of broken pavement and made some deep scratches that I couldn't fix myself. We called Toyota Care for help. We wound up waiting 3 hours for a tow, but the people at Steve's allowed us to use the lot and the restrooms while we waited. After a ridiculous amount of a wait, Brenda, in the office called the tow company that we were waiting for, and "shook them up". Within 20 minutes the tow showed up. While we were waiting we saw the great body work that they were doing on cars. I would trust these people to work on my car any time. Next day I went to the shop and was told if I hadn't heard anything to the contrary the date was on. On the 16th I got a message saying I wasn't on the schedule. Fool me once, shame on you. They never informed me of "Storage" charges that were accruing while there was back and forth with insurance. When insurance refused to pay for the repair Rachel shifted the "Storage" charges to me! They charged over $1000 to park a car outside in rural Hatfield, MA, and refused to accept any responsibility for not telling me of such charges, because they were buried in the fine print of their contract. I was referred to them by my mechanic because they had the impression this was not a shady business. I can confirm that is not the case. What an unethical rip off. For over two years I've been taking my car to Ben at his garage and he's never overcharged me or added on work that didn't need to be done. My baby is old and ready for retirement but I want her to last a little while longer. Ben was willing to put some work into her to make her safe. When she needed some extra attention he didn't charge extra money. He was honest about what needed to be done and what the expectations were. Edit: I decided to get my headlights buffed out at Leon Sirum, a service they offer for a super reasonable price. I wasn't driving at night because they were so cloudy. Leon Sirum did such an amazing job they looked brand new and I failed the state inspection because one of my headlights had been installed wrong all these years and we didn't know it. The inspector just couldn't tell because they were so darn foggy Anyway, I brought my car back to Ben and he quickly fixed it and didn't charge me. Thanks Ben!

What was great is that this family owned business didn't rip me off. They quoted me half the cost of the bigger chains in Greenfield and were extremely polite and professional. Ben was great to work with. The work was done quickly and the staff was willing to explain exactly what needs to be repaired. This incredible repair shop is the place to go if you need your car fixed.
