She told me they would be ready by Thursday. I showed up Thursday; the woman heard me walk in but didn't say a word and left me waiting at the front desk, since there is no bell or anything to indicate a customer has arrived. When she finally walks up to the front desk, she looks for my dresses and then tells me I need to come back tomorrow (Friday) because she forgot to finish the job and the dress was still wrinkly. On Friday, I show up, and the woman again leaves me standing there at the front desk. I am the only one in the business. I say "hello" a few times, but the woman doesn't even give the courtesy of saying, "I'll be with you in a minute," or to "F**k off." I look back, and she's just sitting down on her phone. Only when I say hello, annoyed, does she finally stand up and give me my items. When I get home and check the dresses, they are still wrinkled... My skirt was not hemmed to the agreed upon length and was crooked. They just folded about 2.5 inches of fabric under the skirt, old hem and all, and rehemmed it that way. The skirt hem was bumpy and distorted due to the skirt bottom being wider than the part it was hemmed to. With the old hem in place it not impaired walking as the old hem pulled across my knees as there never should have been a hem there. They refused to issue a refund and insisted it was fine. They told me to give it to them and they'd remove their hem. I refused as it was clear they couldn't adequately hem it correctly in the first place. I was afraid the skirt would be damaged by their removal of the skirt. The woman there then implied that because I refused to let them take out their hem that I was trying to get something for free.

Now, I realize many people will say, who cares, how were the clothes? I can happily report that they all came out great. I asked for lightly starched, and they were. Creases were all correct. Fold were correct. My shirts actually looked newer than when I dropped them off! As far as prices, I had 3 pants pressed and 10 shirts pressed for a total of $31.00, which as far as I can remember seems about average.
