I called to inquire on if anyone was going to show and was told that another electrician was just finishing up a job and would be there soon. The electrician showed up about 30mins later. They started about 1:30 and were still there around 6:30 not finished. While trying to run wire from the attic they attempted to take paneling off of my wall to better get access to it. While he was on my ladder his foot slipped and cracked my paneling. My wife seen this happen. Granted he did apologize and stated if I had any issue the office would make it right by either replaceing the damaged paneling or covering the damages. They came back 2 days later and finished the install and left my area a mess. I brought the problems up with their office. The lady I spoke with stated she would get back with me after I sent pictures. The email I received basically stated that the electricians that were at my place lied. This is the email I received. ( After speaking with the electrician and our manager, it seems that he accidentally tripped over something in your hallway, which caused the panel to crack. He repaired it using silicone, and your wife said that it looked good & that you intended to replace it soon anyway. However, we understand that this is not an ideal situation, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Regarding the dust left behind, we apologize for the oversight on our electrician's part. He did not have a vacuum in his vehicle and asked to borrow a broom and dustpan from your wife. She assured him that it was not a problem, and she would take care of it. He apologized and asked her if she was sure, and she confirmed it was. While this is not our normal protocol, we appreciate your understanding. Now they want $1,200 more for us to reorder a windshield and wait once again as winter approaches. Long story short we assumed 19k in debt because we thought we were getting the package deal with windshield included. We would have walked from the deal had we known the price we were paying did not include a windshield. Was this one bad employee? Yes absolutely! But they had the chance to take a small loss and make this right thus having a returning customer. But they didn't and I will never make a purchase here again. [TL;DR] Mr Electric was over 2 hours late, and did not reach out to me to notify that they would be late; I had to contact them to find out why they were not at my condo on time. In addition, the worker left my electric off at the condo unit for the entire weekend, and my front door unlocked too. [Details] I met with the Mr Electric representative on Wednesday; I needed an old pushmatic breaker box replaced and a main disconnect added in. The representative was professional, on time, and gregarious. He scheduled the work to start for that Friday at 8am; I agreed to meet their worker at 8am in front of the condo unit. On Thursday I confirmed the day and time with their office. The worker did not show up at 8am, and I had not heard from Mr Electric at all; I called them by 8:30 to see if there was some sort of issue and they were not aware of the scheduled start time. I informed them I was missing work in order to be present to unlock the door and that I really needed to have them tell me what time they would be present; I cannot just hang around waiting on them getting around to my project. They committed to being there by 9:30am. I returned to the condo unit by 9:30am and they once again were not present, and once again had not called me to inform that they would not be present. I had to call them in order to find this out. Their Operations Director drove to my condo within 15 minutes to apologize and to stay present to wait for their worker. I confirmed that the schedule was set by them, by their representative, that I had reached out a couple of times to confirm the start time and that I cannot keep missing work due to their missing the committed times. I also confirmed with the Operations Director, and their office dispatcher, that when the worker leaves that the electric will be on at my condo unit. They said, yes of course. I received a message from the dispatcher by 5pm that the work was completed and that the worker had left; they wanted me to pay the bill asap. I drove to the office, asked the dispatcher if everything was completed and he confirmed it had been. I drive to the condo unit and discovered that my front door was left unlocked, and that the electric to the condo unit was left disconnected. I contacted the office right away but they were already closed and they do not work over the weekend. I had to wait until Monday morning (today) to get this resolved. There was no discount or other effort to correct this experience, other than some apologies.

If you want to be accused of making a side contract with the painter who doesn't speak English…read more(because we asked what time he would arrive), yelled at for pointing out that the paint wasn't matching (which it wasn't), and being accused of not abiding by the contract which doesn't state what Shannon Eicher claimed it did, then hire these people. Was told a "team" would come and we'd coordinate with them on room order for painting. One painter showed up and when asked when the team would arrive was told by Shannon we wouldn't like the quality of his other painters. Painter insisted on us moving all the furniture in every room on day 1 so he could trim. Painter was supposed to work Monday-Friday 8-5 per contract but showed up after 10 AM, took an hour lunch, and only worked until 6 to make up for the time twice. Was supposed to take 8-10 days. Paint store did sell the wrong finish to Shannon which delayed completion, however, painter was angry that Shannon wouldn't pay him extra and we were caught in the middle. How does the owner who supposedly has been in the business since he was age 15 and a professional painter not notice that they were using the wrong finish? Home was unlivable for 16 days. Painter didn't have supplies (drop cloths or painter's tape) which we had to purchase from Home Depot to protect the home. We deducted the amount from the final balance because painter failed to reimburse us as he said he would. During the final days when painter had used up our supplies, he used masking tape which was difficult for us to remove (he cleaned nothing). We took off 4 rooms of wall paper ourselves; he wanted us to purchase a steamer at Home Depot which we refused. We did this even though the contract stated the company would remove the paper as the painter would look at the wall, sigh and say in English, "More work" but would never get around to removing the paper. To avoid extending the pain of having to deal with this company we did it ourselves. No thanks from either Shannon or the painter; Shannon yelled that we weren't going to receive a discount which we never asked for. Shannon only came by twice, to pick up his cash payments, not to see how the project was going. After storming out of the house without providing a receipt he never came back. He claimed he had a cat allergy (then why did he take the job?), made an appointment to come but didn't show and then texted a week later that we should have given the final payment to the painter when he left. The paint wasn't dry and per the contract, the final walk through was to be arranged after the job was completed which hadn't occurred. Shannon sent the painter back two days later to obtain the balance. Shannon admitted he doesn't get a lot of referrals. No wonder!

There was a bit of miscommunication about a window sill, the outside of one of them ended up being replaced. The crew didn't clean up any of the saw dust or wood chips from removing the old windows. Edit: 1/18/2025. We decided to paint the inside of our house, walls, doors entryways, windows etc. The caulking that Honey Badger used is NOT PAINTABLE. Which is a real bummer. Wish they used paintable caulk. When painting the paint just beads up and shrinks on the caulk. Therefore after painting, you have to wipe off the paint from the caulk because it doesn't dry at all.

Yeah, i know it needs to be fixed...you broke it. I've taken the sink apart multiple times with no problems, but "it must've been a weak pipe". Probably something I can fix myself, and he wrote me a "guarantee" in case I need them to come back out, but I probably could've rented a longer pipe snake for $179 and not broken my pipe and left a ton of rust on my driveway from the 20 min he spent trying to unstick his own pipe snake.
