It's great that they are open later than most coffee shops and serves coffee that's flavorful and still with that coffee taste. Just the right place for an after dinner coffee conveniently walkable from Thornton Park. The space is roomy without the usual computer people that sit there forever, it feels more of a hang out place than a library. They have a corner stage for live music on certain times and a record shop section. Cool and unique concept. Was looking for a place to study and I think I found the one! Had a Cortado & Veggie wrap(gluten free) and enjoyed the e energy as well as the Vinyl all around that they're selling. Though it wasn't my first time at Bynx, it was my first time seeing a performance there. I ordered an Irish cream iced latte and enjoyed the show. It was a lovely intimate performance but surprisingly a lot of seats fit comfortably in the cafe space. They make great coffee and also have a store where they sell vinyls. Absolutely one of my favorite coffee shops in Orlando. Very good espresso drinks, friendly baristas, plenty of seating, and good wifi. Apart from the vinyl collection and art for sale, what makes Bynx stand out as a coffee shop is a busy calendar of community events such as open mic nights and other live music offerings. Parking is a bit of a hassle, so I mostly tend to come on Sundays. read more

This is a really cute coffee shop located in downtown Orlando. They have live music which is incredible and a pretty good selection of espresso drinks. There is also a room full of records which is so neat! I ordered one of the seasonal drinks with rose, chocolate and espresso which was delightful. Cool place; love the vinyl annex. But coffee comes first in a review of a coffee place, and the shot pull was the most sour I've had in years despite a Mazzer and La Marzocco setup . Beans also lacked aroma and tasted flat, so I wonder how old the roast is. Bakery offerings were disproportionally sparse, too. Plastic utensils with regular plates drive me nuts, but I no deduction there, as that seems to be the Orlando way. Look for the original Sex Pistols poster inside. read more

This is by far one of the best coffee shops I've visited. Right when I walked in I knew I was going to vibe with it. The music they had on was really chill, so great for doing some work or studying. The tables conveniently had outlets or were near outlets which is a huge plus for me. The staff are so incredibly nice and helpful and shared their recommendations with me. I got the matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla which was amazing. Avocado smash toast was way better than I expected honestly; seasoned well and added cheese was a nice touch. I stayed there a few hours and later got the spinach quiche and this is when I decided to review this place. IT WAS SO GOOD. 10/10 (see picture for cheese pull). Super cute coffee shop downtown going towards the Thorton Park area. The decor is cool, the employees are very welcoming and friendly, and their selection of food and beverages is plentiful. They are better known for there live music events and record store. Its a very hipster place. Lots of people go to work there on theyre laptops and theyres plenty of seating! I think my daughter has influenced me to enjoy coffee more and more~ I'm not one who needs it everyday, but do enjoy the occasional espresso, cappuccino, latte and more. This morning was definitely a coffee morning and I volunteered to go grab coffee for all of us ladies after a late night having fun in Orlando. Bynx was minutes from the hotel. I found street parking, had my list of orders for Debbie, Abbey & Elizabeth. The surrounding roads are brick and I comically held the cup holder by the handle trying to keep all the coffees from spilling. Service was fast and friendly and I tipped in the "always have green lights" jar instead of the "never pay for parking" jar- although I want both! It's a -you have to see it- to understand. The shop also has a vinyl record store and plenty of cool merchandise! AND, a stage. I bet this is a very cool spot to just chill, makes me want to look around my home for something similar! Unique establishment my first time in this area of Orlando. It was Yelp Week Event that had me curious enough to seek it out. Unfortunately wasn't lucky enough to participate as a Yelper but went on my own. Did the establishments but on my own. Here asked what was the popular coffee. Went with a lavender iced coffee which was very nice. Browsing around with the books & records brought lots of memories. Really was hoping to see the VW it wasn't there. Lots of pictures & items. Really enjoyed just stoping and reflecting on how lots of life & changes passes by so quickly it's nice to reflect.. people were very helpful & friendly. Parking is a little bit of a task but after finding meter the kind young lady told me there is free parking on Jackson St which is (2) blocks away. If you are looking for a place to work during the day, I suggest this coffee shop as it is still pretty new and off the beaten path a bit. That meant lots of seating at their multiple two top tables. Power outlets are hard to come by though so sit accordingly. I ordered a special Salter Caramel Latte. It didn't wow me, and seemed pretty plain so that was a little disappointing. I plan to come back again and try their other offerings though. Parking nearby is all street parking, some with meters and some without--what a win! read more

While visiting Orlando we were looking for a coffee shop and found this place! What a find.... Great atmosphere, amazing staff, and great drinks and eats!!! We ordered lattes, avocado toast and breakfast sandwich. The lattes were so smooth... could have easily had a second one! When the food came we were blown away... the breakfast sandwich was grilled panini style with ham, cheese, egg and was hot - the flavors melted together and such a generous portion! Could have easily been shared! The avocado toast was much the same in generous portion and loaded with creamy avocado, arugula, pear tomatoes and grated cheese. It was amazing!!! We also picked up a tshirt, stickers and coffee mug and travel mug to take home (our daughter and son in law have a bunny by the same name!) they were very helpful finding and packaging what we wanted. There is live music at times and lots of music memorabilia hanging around and for sale. WiFi available. A very cool place for sure! I could hang out here for hours enjoying everything! read more

Wow! For a shop that offers coffee, ephemera, etc. this is a gorgeous location. One of those you walk by and your head whips around and you wonder "what's going on in THERE?" Live music, that's what! Delicious sips and nibs, that's what! Bynx is as hip as Downtown Orlando has tried to be...for YEARS. I'll be returning soon for one of their specialty drinks, which the lovely young lady behind the counter today recommended as "10 out of 10" - all of them. I didn't think I could fall in love with a coffee shop until I came here ... I didn't think it was possible to "carry a torch" for a building but ... here we are. They combined music , books and coffee and created one of the dopest aesthetics/environments possible for a chill and relaxing coffee shop. I love all of the classic vinyl records on display and the even have merchandise for sale. I got an iced cappuccino (first time ever having one) and it was delicious. I am so happy I had the chance to experience this wonderful coffee shop and bask in all of its effervescent glory. Stopped by on a lovely Saturday morning (after having been here once before but briefly) and got an iced americano. The barista was friendly and I love the atmosphere with natural lighting. Americano had a full flavor with not too much bitterness. However it was quite expensive for being mostly water: $5.5 for a small with tip. It also has a small area displaying vinyls for sale which is a nice addition! I would definitely frequent here if I lived closer!! read more

I liked how spacious the coffeehouse is as well, lots of space to sit without being right next to people. Bathrooms were also nice and clean. Wi-Fi was fast.
