We went to have family photos taken with our 1- and 4-year old. The reservation was made online, and it was super simple. We were greeted downstairs by the owners, taken up to the studio and shown how to use the remote for taking the photos, and we got to work starting to move the prop furniture/boxes around and playing with some of the accessories. When we were done with our photo session (20 minutes was perfect with two little ones), we went through the photos to select our favorites, narrow down to a few to print, and we were emailed all of the digital photos shortly after. It was amazing to have the immediate gratification of walking out with prints and getting the digital files right away. My husband was impressed and happy with the ease of this kind of family photo session with the kids versus a session out with an actual photographer. I'd highly recommend this place! I had so much fun taking photos at BYME in Santa Clara. We were greeted by the owner as soon as we parked and he walked us up to the studio. He was very welcoming and kind; I could tell he was passionate about his business. Once we got to the studio, we had complete privacy and so many fun props for photos. I'm so happy Instagram decided to advertise BYME Studio on my feed. My family of four was able to squeeze in some time today for a Halloween photoshoot in between our busy schedule. Despite mommy looking like a hot mess (from coralling the kids and getting everyone ready ) the pictures turned out so cute! I love the fact that we got to be in control of taking the photos with a simple click from a tiny handheld remote, and the fact that the studio was private and all to ourselves. There's a body mirror in the room for you to prep yourselfes and they also provide plenty of props for you to choose from should you want to. BYME Studio is your spot for beautiful and quick studio photos. I had been wanting to check out BYME Studios after seeing some friends take their photos here as well as on other social media avenues. And so, the opportunity came up on a quick visit to the bay area this past weekend. The owner is super friendly and the studio itself is quaint with many props for creative poses. I went with the 1 hour package, which is 40 mins of taking pictures and 20 minutes of looking through the photos to print two physical 4 x 6 photos. We came here for a family photoshoot. You get a clicker to snap your photo and there is a large screen to show you what the picture will look like. At first I was anxious thinking this will be too chaotic with three babies and 7 adults but it was really fun. It feels less stressful when you can take your time to pose. We had a great time at Byme taking some family photos! Everything was seamless from start to finish, Yongmin, the owner was even thoughtful enough to wait outside for us to arrive to make sure we found our way in as it can be a bit confusing. This was our first time taking self portrait photos, and the set up at Byme was well thought out. The studio room is private, they let you close the door which was great too because we brought our doggo along. We brought multiple outfits and the timer on the wall was really helpful so we could keep track of when to stop and change. Everything was super well lit and clean, with two large monitors so you can see the current photo the last photo taken. Plenty of props but you can bring your own too. BYME Studios was such a fun experience!! I booked myself, my mom, and my daughter a 30 minute session and we had a blast from start to finish. The studio is located in a building for professionals- maybe a place for different start up companies? I immediately went into a parking garage (thanks to a review I read) and from there, it was a short walk to the building. I checked in with the front desk and then the owner of BYME came down to bring us up (this is a very secure building). He introduced us to the very user-friendly equipment and set the timer and left. It was such a nice and personal experience to be able to take the photos ourselves without the stress of someone watching and what is even better, I was sent ALL of the digital photons via email. My daughter loved that she could be in control of the clicker and loved the fun props they provided. We will definitely be booking another session soon! read more

We absolutely loved our first time experience at BYME Studio! We went in for an hour-long session with our dog for a family session. Yongmin, the owner, helped us in - he was so understanding of us when we were running late, and he even waited for us at the door! The studio and parking were both easy to find and navigate, thanks to the directions that were provided to us ahead of time. There is a parking lot attached to the building with plenty of available spots (even during weekends), and street parking is also available all around. The studio was equipped with everything you'll need - background music, phone stand, plenty of fun props, and even an area in the back of the private studio for you to change outfits if needed. It was nice that we get the room for ourselves to shoot comfortably. We had so much fun and we are so glad that we found BYME Studio. Huge plus for being dog-friendly. I would highly recommend self-photoshoot sessions as a date night idea, or even as a gift for your loved ones! Consider coming in prepared with some ideas for poses ahead of time, since the session is timed - their Instagram has some fun ideas of how others have posed for their photos.
