Olga was absolutely amazing to work with! The whole process was seamless, and she handled our little one with such care and expertise. Scheduling was super easy--she fit us in for our last-minute session with our 3-week-old newborn with absolute ZERO hesitation. She even went the extra mile to check in and make sure an outfit I ordered for the last-minute session arrived in time so I could coordinate with my husband and my baby for our photos. Since our baby was already over 3 weeks old when we booked, we knew that some photographers might not be comfortable doing newborn sessions at that stage since babies tend to be less sleepy. But Olga had no problem at all and did such a fantastic job! It was clear from the way she handled him that she has a ton of experience with babies--she was so gentle yet efficient and managed to capture the sweetest sleeping shots, along with some adorable, serendipitous smiles! I also really appreciated how mindful she was about hygiene. She made sure to wash her hands and was extra careful about what she touched before handling our baby. For example, we have a small dog, and even though she's a dog lover and owner herself, she mentioned that as much as she'd love to say hello to our pup, she wanted to be extra cautious and avoid petting him while working with our newborn. That level of thoughtfulness really stood out to us. Most importantly, the photos turned out absolutely beautiful! Olga came fully prepared with a complete kit of swaddles in different colors, props, and even a warmer to keep our baby cozy and comfortable throughout the session too. She guided us through MULTIPLE poses and made sure our baby was safe and at ease the whole time. And, another detail note here, I was pleasantly surprised to see that she even warmed her hands on her warmer right before we passed our baby over to her hands. Her pricing is very fair too for the quality of work she delivers. We chose Package #1 and were so happy to receive our final edited photos within the same week of the shoot. Olga was very easy to work with. We originally wanted to do our photo shoot last year, but we've had to reschedule our photo shoot numerous times, because of bad weather or our son getting sick. When we finally had our photo shoot, our son had allergies, but we didn't want to cancel, since that would have been the 4th time to reschedule. We also didn't want to wait until the summer, since it would have been too hot for our son to be outside for a long period of time. Who am I kidding? My son probably wouldn't have cared about the heat, it would have been too hot for ME to be outside for an extended period of time, and nobody likes to be sweaty during photo shoots (especially not me). During the shoot, Olga tried to make our 2 year-old son laugh and feel more comfortable. She was also very considerate and asked us if we wanted to stop, or take a break, when she would notice that our son was getting restless. He also had teary eyes and a runny nose, so we constantly had to wipe his nose. Despite the circumstance, our pictures turned out so well. We're very happy with our pictures. This review is long overdue but I had to get on here and say what a wonderful photographer and person Olga is! I last worked with Olga a couple of years ago to do family portraits. Back then my oldest was 2 and my younger one was only a few months old. She was very efficient in directing us on how to walk, pose etc and her suggested location was absolutely stunning! With all the chaos of a toddler and infant she managed to beautifully edit pictures which now hang in our home. It was really hard to get my toddler to sit still but her editing skills were awesome and she was able to give us many beautiful shots. Which brings me to my most recent experience with her.. my grandmother had passed away a few weeks ago and we couldn't find a good picture of her to use for the funeral. My first thought was to call Olga to see if she could help edit the photo of my grandmother and she happily agreed. She edited the picture so quickly and sent it back and we were able to use it. I just am so grateful for how she willingly helped us in that moment for nothing in return. We were referred to Olga by a former coworker for newborn photos and I am so thankful we booked her! Her work is BEAUTIFUL and she was so easy to work with. She gave us the option of outfits and bows but let her choose and they all turned out so sweet. I was a little nervous hoping our baby would be fed enough and sleep through the entire session. After having Olga photograph both my newborns and an unbelievable maternity/family session with my eldest, I wouldn't trust anybody but Olga to capture the special times in our family life. She comes prepared with all props necessary to photograph any newborn and quickly works in your home to get a set of shots in her tried and true poses. She is also great at setting up shots if you have special props of your own (we had our cats and my husband's tuba in our photos!). Olga also has a great eye for posing the adults and catching everyone in the right moment, even if you are usually awkward or uncomfortable in photos! We really appreciated her professionalism at all three photo shoots, all the way down to the space heater she brings to keep your newborn comfortable. We weren't 100% we were a professional photos kind of family at first, but we have been so happy to have these memories to keep and share our big life transitions, I can't imagine it any other way anymore! I had Olga come out and take newborn photos of our daughter and I also wanted to include her older brother in some of the pictures.
