Bought a Living Social Coupon for three sleigh ride pictures. We ended up going the day after Thanksgiving, little did we know it was Opening Day AND the Tree Lighting Ceremony so the whole place was bananas, especially them being set up right beside the main tree. Even though we arrived at 5:30p, there was already a disorganized line.There were about five groups in front of us but the line moved reeeeaaaallly slow and it took us about 20 minutes to get to the front. I am not sure if the lady behind the counter was new? As she couldn't answer many questions. The prices are set up so that a group 8 would be charged one rate, and anything over a group of 8 would be charged a different rate. The guy in front of me had a group on 9. What is not posted anywhere is that if you have more than 7 people in your party, they charge $10 additional per head. The guy in front of me asked where that was posted and the lady answered "I'm the manager. I can charge what I want!" Um. OK. Once you pay and check out, the line to take the actual picture is not that long. We waited less than 10 minutes. The lady taking our pictures asked us how we wanted to be posed. We said we had no idea (I mean, how often do you think about how you're going to pose on a sleigh behind a reindeer's butt?!?) and she seemed a bit frustrated that we hadn't thought it out. She posed us and took ONE PICTURE. That's it'. ONE. JUST ONE. I can understand if this was back in the days of old school film but we're in the digital age people.. can't you take three and choose the best of? Especially being we have a toddler with us? So if someone in your picture blinked or is looking the wrong way or even has a bugar hanging out their nose.. you're SOL! She told us our package will be ready in 20 minutes. We were able to walk down to get the famous loaded Hot Chocolate and when we came back, our package STILL wasn't ready (that was about 45 minutes). The lady, who took her pic in front of me, was waiting. We were discussing how it was very disorganized and how she had 8 grandchildren in her picture and how she was feeling very anxious that she bought a big package (with CDs and extra holiday cards) and the fact they only took ONE picture.. what are the odds everyone will look alright? Anyhoo, she was just glad she got her pictures (after sitting there for almost an hour) but she said she would most likely never do it again (her pic just came out 'alright'). After waiting about another 15 minutes for mine, I got my package: 3 pictures of the SAME ONE PICTURE with the three different backgrounds. The Canadian said not to do this again: long wait, totally disorganized, they only take one picture so make it good.. while the picture was cute, the whole experience was just not that... holiday-ish. Unless cranky, rude, long waits, misinformed posters, and uninformed employees is your definition on 'holidays' then by all means.. have a go! read more

This place creates such a unique and memorable Christmas photos. It's so addicting. We had to take two just so we could take turns flying off of Santas Sleigh. A couple of tips: Listen to your photographer - she really knows what she is doing. Creating angles and illusions of leaning, flying and falling. And be prepared to use some muscles you never knew you had. But pain is beauty and it's worth it. I wish they had more locations because it's the best Christmas card photo. I spoke with Daniel over the phone and I felt like he really listened as I explained my dissatisfaction. After hearing his thoughts, I understood that both sides could have handled the situation differently, and my review seemed a little unfair. So I decided to take him up on his offer for another shoot. I was relieved that Tenaya, the manager, welcomed us back with a smile. I don't know if it was sincere or just good acting haha but nevertheless, I appreciated it because it made an awkward situation much more comfortable. I made sure to be more upfront and specific about wanting a fun pose to the photographer. Once she knew what we wanted she put us in this crazy pose, balancing off the back of the sleigh that was so hard to hold! But it was worth it...the new pics came out AWESOME! Daniel and Tenaya really gave me the impression that they actually cared about their customers satisfaction and wanted to make things right. I'm glad we went back and gave it another shot. Our Christmas cards might be a little late this year but they will coolest card in the mailbox! read more

Im completely disgusted with the professionalism and people skills the photographer had. We went two years ago and it was the same photographer. She seemed very rushed and unorganized then and made us all very uncomfortable. This year we tried to take the photo again and she was the same but worse. She didn't seem to know how to place us on the sleigh. When we told her my mother couldn't sit a certain way due to her disability, she got upset with us. Then when it came to actually came down to taking the photo she kept yelling at us 'have your face facing the camera but your eyes looking at the penguin. This went us for 10 minutes and my three year old was scared of the noise to where he started hyperventilating and my fiance got got very frustrated and walked off with our son. She began to yell at him and he told her 'then take the picture if you see him getting frustrated' and she said 'i took about 20 of them already' then my fiancé said 'then why are you still trying to get a picture' and she goes 'im trying to get the best one' and I said 'our son is autistic and you can't just keep taking picture because you want the perfect picture. You see he's freaking out. It's common sense' she still continued to argue with us. Wet would've just left but NO REFUNDS apparently. I used to work portraits for years and still do side work. I was trained to recognize when a child is getting frustrated and when to stop and to know how to properly get the smiles. She she know better than that. We got our picture taken last Saturday with my Living Social deal. Thought we would do something different for the holidays. Located right next to the HUGE Christmas tree and performance state. Not too crowded and the wait was 25min or less to take the picture. Had my toy poodle dressed up and my boyfriend and I in our holiday sweaters. The boyfriend complained about the awkward pose with my 15lb dog hanging off his arm. I laughed the entire time. We were back in 20 min to pick up our photos. I would give the full 5 stars but that last star missing would only be because the photographer we had didn't really help us with our pose, we really just winged it. Initially our sled pose with just of us sitting there smiling but we asked to re-take it since we wanted it to be silly. Our second one came out better but she still dint pose us. This is definitely a very original booth good for families and/or group of friends. All you have to do is let the photographer know what mood you want your photo to be, and she'll pose you in the best way possible. The wait is around 15~30min depending on how busy they are, but the results are so entertaining and great, it's really like we're flying in the sky on the sleigh :) There's a deal to get a digital copy to keep forever. These aren't your boring run of the mill Santa pics - you can fly over the North Pole or San Jose in a giant red sleigh!
