I loved my experience here! We did a 30 min session of the XXL muti color studio. They had lots of fun props and 4 color backgrounds (pink, blue, purple, and orange). The camera quality and lighting is soooo good! I love the self clicker concept because you can click it exactly when you're ready. This session came with 2 XXL strips that have 4 photos each, and then you get all the other extra pics you took in the session digitally. Definitely recommend and I'll be back!
Made an appointment online to do the Multi Color room with the XL Strips and was so in love with the end result! I've been wanting these huge photo strips forever and was able to bring my 2 fur babies with me. I do wish that it was able to do full body though. My corgi was too short for the photos even with the stools hahaha but I made it work. All the instructions were easy to follow and the place was spacious and clean. The attendant was also super accommodating and nice. Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone I know. Thank you!!!
We booked the white room for 30 mins to take my son's first birthday photos. From when we booked a session to when we finished, BYME studio has been amazing. They would send reminders and even photos of how to get to the studio, which I appreciated. There was ample street parking alongside the building, too, which made getting there easy. During the session, our clicker decided to stop working so we were given an additional 5-10 minutes to make up for it. Which was extremely thoughtful and I truly appreciated it. There were a bunch of props, too! The entire session did not feel rushed and we had a blast. Since I am still wanting to keep my son's face off of social media, i declined on having our photos featured but attached are a few "no faces" shots we were able to get. I was able to access all photos immediately after as they offered to airdrop them and also emailed a zip folder. I recommend this for your next photo session! Customer service is 10/10 and the photos were all high quality.
First time client, went in for a little birthday photoshoot and had a fun time doing it! They have a lot of prompts for you to display during your shoot or you can bring your own. They allow you to play your own music while taking your photos too which is a plus, i do wish they had a fan in the session room lol. Overall a great experience and do plan to book other sessions in the near future with family and friends!
Wow! Such a fabulous concept - we really enjoyed our session at BYME! Our last minute maternity photos turned out excellent and we had fun with all the props. Service was amazing and they were so helpful with the photo selection process for prints (you get all your photos digitally, but can choose a few to print). We had the room to ourselves so it was easy to do outfit changes and we were able to be as silly or as classy as we wanted with the neutral white background. I will absolutely be back for Christmas photos, etc. Really impressive price point and quality pictures - if you are in the fence, just do it! You won't regret it!
5/16/25 - My friend and I booked an appointment to take staff pics for FANIME Con and the owner, Yongmin, was the one who assisted us today. He was so nice and accommodating even though we were late! It was so easy to understand how to snap your own pics and we felt like Kpop idols getting studio pics haha ! So many accessories were available to use too? But we brought our own as well. The lighting in the White Room made our skin so smooth and glowy once we saw the options for printing too. I'd highly recommend and plan to go back for headshot pics next! FYI it's in James Square building 2nd floor. Also even though for 30 min session you get to print only 2 per person, you can keep all the digital you took!

It's a great option if you have friends/family that feel camera shy around people who have to position you for different poses. You just choose your poses, props, and press the clicker when you're ready! Such a great way to create memories with your loved ones :)
If you're looking for professional photography without the awkwardness of a stranger taking your family photos, this is the place. This creative concept is absolutely fantastic, and I truly hope they expand to other communities because it's incredibly convenient. We took our family for holiday photos, including our two pets, and we had such a great time. I loved that the background was fully set up before we even got started. The staff escorted us to the room, showed us the backdrop, and explained how to use the camera. Everything was ready to go--super smooth and stress-free. They had music, props, lighting--everything you could think of. There was a timer so we knew exactly how much time we had, and if we needed help, the staff was very attentive and quick to assist. I can sometimes feel uncomfortable having someone else take our pictures, but this experience was the best decision and absolutely worth the money. The staff was amazing--kind, attentive, and extremely helpful. The only thing I hope to see improved in the future (because I will definitely be coming back) is accessibility. The studio is upstairs with no elevator, so if you have pets in a stroller or kids/infants in strollers, you'll need to leave them downstairs. Overall, everything was amazing, and I highly recommend this place.
We booked 1 hour of regular studio room for 7 of us (2 families). All of the equipments (stationary DSLR with remote control, 2 monitors to see last photo that was taken and live video stream, and various light strobes and umbrellas) worked perfectly without needing any technical assistance. We got so many precious photos that we are printing to frame on our wall and to use for holiday post cards. I plan to come here again. Highly recommend.

my friends and i wanted some new portraits/professional headshots - since we've been eyeing this spot we finally made the appt and showed up! it's a fairly easy process book an appt online (we had three people total - we paid $110 for 30 minutes for 3 people) show up on the day of contact the staff they got us from the front and walked us to their studio they go over the instructions/show us the props test shot with the staff you do your thing! the overall turnaround for the gallery is fairly easy and quick. we got our gallery within 5 to 10 mins and each person got to print out their fav shot from the gallery! and you get the rest digitally ~ if you want some cute and easy professional headshots without involving others except yourself/with a small group then this is def something id recommend! something i do advise is maybe doing it in 2-3 groups bc someone can help with the clicker and also practice your poses ahead of time so you can min max your time in the studio! more photos from my own experience at: @dailyvlogswjeans read more

My boyfriend and I decided last minute to try this place out and booked an appointment on Valentine's Day! The process was easy and I loved how we felt free to take as many pictures as we wanted with no pressure since it was just us in the room. The owners were also super friendly and accommodating, their service alone makes me want to come back! We also loved that they allow pets!! Yong and his wife have been great for our Christmas photos! This is the second year we've used them and we booked a 30min session and took 254 photos lol. I like that it's our own space since we like doing the photos with our dog and they are such a sweet couple when it comes to dogs! Definitely recommend it to everyone I know since it's not super awkward how sometimes it is with a stranger since you have the entire studio booth/room to yourself for your allotted time. read more

So fun! I've been to two sessions here and have had good experiences with both. Owner is super helpful and responsive - the process itself is very simple. The studios are clean and have everything you need. The lighting is great and the preview screen is helpful with posing. Pet friendly as well! This is probably my fourth time at BYME Studio and I honestly love it every single time. The quality of the pictures always comes out amazing, and the whole experience is super easy and comfortable. I really love that it's private and you can take your time during the session. Everything is always clean, organized, and convenient. I was doing my research on photo studios nearby and I thought this place best suited my interest. I acknowledged the good reviews and how local it was! Young, the employee delivered excellent service, generosity, and patience. He instructed us on how to take our photos, allowed us to use our own props, etc. You get all your photos digitally but you get 2 free prints! Was looking for a photo studio that had openings the week before Christmas and we came across this place on Yelp and tik tok. I was hesitant to book at first since you do have to pay up front but was so glad we decided to book. You take your photos yourself and it was honestly such a fun experience. They have different timed sessions to choose from, a bunch of props you can use and the room inside has a screen where you can see how your photo turns out right there. We did the 30 min session. 20 min was for taking photos and the other ten was for reviewing your photos. You get two prints from the studio but are welcome to purchase more. You get all your photos sent to you digitally. I really love how our photos turned out and will have to come back next year for sure! read more

Finding the studio would've been a little difficult but the owner sent photos and great instructions on how to get there which was very helpful. Everything was so simple to work the employee showed me what to do and let me do my thing. Had the best time at BYME studio! The studio takes up an office space in a building office in Santa Clara. You can book time slots on their website and preview their various packages of 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 90 minutes. I booked a 30 minute session for Tuesday morning at 11:05 am to get some self head shots and model a bit. The 30 minutes were 20 minutes of photo shoot and 10 minutes of photo selection. There's a parking structure right next to the building, so it's super convenient and about a 5 minute walking. It can get packed since workers are using the parking structure and you'll have to pay a fee when exiting. I paid around $10 for parking. When you reach the building, someone will meet you outside the building to escort you to the 2nd floor since you need a security to access the building and go up the elevator. Yong met me at the entrance, and provided me with the details of the studio as we made our way up. Once complete, I was ready to take photos. This is an awesome experience if you're shy to take photos in public since it's your own space whether solo or with friends. It's a clean space with awesome studio lighting and professional camera that's already preset for you to capture your best self! I felt so comfortable and confident in taking photos. There are various props to use such as blocks or high chairs to sit on. Great variety to capture fun, heartwarming moments with your loved ones. There's a timer on the floor, so you know how much time is left. Everything is controlled by a clicker, so take as many photos as you want! You'll see the captured shot on another screen so you can adjust, fix your clothes, or strike another pose. Once my session was done, Yong returned to let me choose 2 photos to print out for physical copies. I ended up taking 150+ photos in 20 minutes. I got all the digital copies to myself. Afterwards, Yong walked me back the building entrance, and I went about my day. Overall, BYME studio is taken care with professionalism, awesome customer service, and and amazing experience for whoever comes! I'm definitely coming again! read more

Super friendly and amazing experience! At first we felt little awkward what to do, but once you get used to it, you just take bunch of photos and try new poses! Make sure to study some poses and ideas before hand so you can just go at it! Over all 10/10 experience with 10/10 high quality photos. read more
so much fun!! my friends & I took holiday pictures with our dogs and it was a quick and easy process to make the appointment online. - much easier than trying to take photos at JCP or any other studios, youre allotted x amount of time (30, 60, 90) to take your own photos with a clicker, and then youre able to choose which ones you want printed. The rest youll receive in a zip file through email. - dog friendly!! dogs count as an extra guest so they're $10 each. 2 people are included in the original reservation, any human or dog on top of that is $10 each. - right by DTSJ, but parking during the day was not difficult at all, found street parking right outside. Can be a little confusing to find the actual portrait studio (on weekends the outside main doors are locked) and it's located in an office building on the second floor. - clean & friendly: owners are reasonably accommodating and very kind. they clean each room after use. - the only downside is that there is less selection for photo backgrounds. they do have a plethora of props that are available for use though! - our total for 3 humans and 2 doggos was $130, which still ends up being cheaper than JCP! read more
