We were seated in a comfortable booth on the second floor. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive from the moment we arrived. The menu has a nice variety of appetizers, entrées, and sides, making it difficult to decide because everything sounded so good. I ordered the pulled pork with mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts topped with bacon and candied pecans, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous, I couldn't even finish my meal. The Brussels sprouts were especially outstanding. Jimmy Madison's is well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Harrisonburg.

I called ahead to be sure everything was ready as I have children with ASD as well as other diagnoses. The staff were super helpful. She was helpful and allowed us to sit in a quiet and tucked away area so there was less sensory triggers for the kids, My children absolutely loved their visit, and all the fun "piggies" on display. The food was warm and fresh and had good taste. I can mot say enough about how kind and patient they were for us. My kids have asked several times to visit the "piggy restaurant" again!

The lack of quality was such that it halfway jarred me into sobriety. The Texas Hen is made with what felt like weird chicken meal, and for $8.99 is not a good value proposition (even with the chili). The fries I ended up with were incredibly sour, which is not a flavor I typically expect from potatoes. The corn dog was alright. I want to like this place for its convenience and speed, but the taste of those sour fries coming up every time I belched the remainder of the night is a memory that will haunt me.
