I bought a Groupon voucher to get some stains removed from my sofa, no big deal, but still, wanted to get rid of them. When the man came, he told me I should cancel the Groupon as it didn't cover stain removals so I did and payed him cash. He was unorganized, unclean and messy. My partner and I kept cleaning after him as he "cleaned" and left drips all over our wooden floors. When he finished, I noticed the sofa had changed of color. He reassured me saying it was because it was wet and it will come off once it's dry. It didn't. My beige sofa is now pink... We all make mistakes and I am very understanding about it so I gave him the chance to fix it... Here are the texts following the issue:
ME: Good morning. I am Silvia, your client from yesterday afternoon. The stain came out but unfortunately the sofa has dried out pink and there are heavy marks of where you stopped cleaning. We need you to come and fix this as soon as possible please. Here are some photos. Let us know when you can come. Thank you and have a good day.
BBC: Call you guys soon
(he called me back and arranged to meet the next day in the am)
ME: Good morning! What time will you be coming past tomorrow? Silvia.
(he never replied so I called and we arranged a time, nobody showed up)
ME: Hello. We were expecting you yesterday but haven't heard anything yet. We would like to solve the small issue with the couch cleaning as soon as you can. Please contact us at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
(I got my boyfriend to call him because I was starting to loose my nerves, he asked him to remind him of our appointment in case he forgot! crazy, but I still did...)
ME: Hi! Just a quick reminder of our appointment today between 2 & 3. Thank you and see you soon.
ME @ 15:49, after waiting for several hours: Hi! I had to go out for a second but will be back home soon. How are you doing? What time will you be there?
BBC: Still working at this house
ME: Ok, please let me know when you're leaving towards our place, thank you.
BBC: Ok
(nobody ever showed up)
ME: Hey! What happened today?
BBC: Call yo u Monday
ME: Good morning. We have waited at home for you for three days now and nobody has come, you were also supposed to call yesterday and we haven't heard from you. The sofa needs to be fixed. I understand you are busy, as we all are, but this cannot carry on in such way. Please let's solve this as soon as possible.
I never got any replies back and they won't pick up the phone if I call from my number, therefore, all I can do is give everyone else this information so that nobody ever has to go through what I had to go and wastes their money on such and unreliable and unworthy of trust business. read more
