Then while I waited to cancel and get out of there I had to wait again while manager was on phone telling customer she was sorry and hoped she found another location but don't go to Mayfair' as she can't say name but don't go there. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and makes you feel so comfortable. I got the High Rise facial, as well as my eyebrows waxed. When I got there she welcomed me, examined my skin and then walked me through everything she would be doing, step by step, based on my skin type and where my problem areas are. Afterward, she talked to me about products that would help but in no way was there pressure to purchase them. I will for sure be returning and I can not recommend her enough!! If you do any self care, make it a facial with Taylor! I promise it is so worth it!

Being new to the Wilmington area and someone who values self care, I was excited about Wilmington…read moreHemp Spa. Unfortunately, I didn't get to experience their services. Due to an error on my end, I thought my appt was an hour later than it actually was, and missed my scheduled time. The moment I realized (about 20 min into the appt time), I called the spa. They offered to reschedule me but also told me I'd have to pay my full appt cost ($85) as a no-show fee either way. I completely understand a business needing to charge a no-show fee. Employees' time is valuable and employees shouldn't suffer for my mistake. However given that I was wanting to reschedule/pay again, and that it was an honest mistake, I asked if there was ANYTHING they could do to help me financially on the no-show fee, to allow their employee to still be paid but to maybe cut me a bit of a break on the no-show fee. $85 is a lot of money, especially to pay it twice to get 1 service. Unfortunately they were completely unwilling to do so. Clearly based on the glowing reviews, the spa is great. But the no-show policy seems to me particularly extreme and rigid based on what other spas charge for no-shows. Again, the missed appointment was my mistake, 100%. But I also know as a business owner myself that there is always a little wiggle room, and I wish they had been more flexible for someone who could have been a regular client.

It's taken me…read more2 years to try Feah after getting my brows butchered by waxers at nail salons and spas in the area (everywhere from Jacksonville down to Wilmington). Now that I'm getting closer to my wedding, brow maintenance is becoming crucial, so I went to see Feah. I also have pretty wiry brows (cuban and italian parents), so I need a professional! She was amazing at consulting with me about my brows, delicately shaping them, while still letting them grow in from my botched wax job. When I went, there was no one there and I had no wait at all (a Monday evening). As the previous reviewer said, the price is a bit higher than I usually pay for threading in Philly or New Jersey ($7-10 max); I paid $12 plus tip. She does accept credit card and tip on credit card though, so that was convenient. Overall, I'm very glad I decided to see Feah and will continue to do so until I leave Wilmington. They also do a lot of other beauty services for decent prices, too. Don't waste your time at a waxer or salon/spa... this is worth it.
