The coxinhas are a bit dried out. 3/5. Pasteles probably a better buy but nothing is made fresh to order other than açaí bowls maybe. Fresh squeezed orange juice for $4. 5/5 Food offerings 2/5. Dessert offerings 4/5. Brazilian market is a solid 5/5. Clean and modern looking place, with ample tables and chairs. Friendly service.

Best acai bowl I've ever had. All the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. I actually got the cup and it's more than enough, very generous with their sides. The empanadas are so amazingly flaky but still some crunch. I could eat the breading alone. The beef filling was ok, a lil dry, would like cheese with it maybe. They do offer some good free sauces though. Staff are super friendly and always smiling. Nice environment to sit and eat also if you want to.

I come here occasionally with our Au Pair who is from Brazil. We have a great experience each time since she is able to find food that we have not seen selling anywhere else so far. We are able to stock up on a bunch of Brazilian treats for our home! I love learning about the different food that they have here too! Some things that I recommend you try at By Brazil: cheesy bread, hearts of palm, suco concentrado passionfruit flavored, guarana soda, yoki farofa, and their bakery items. The staff here are nice. Besides groceries they do make pastries and acai.

Really good stop for Brazilian groceries and authentic açaí bowls. Don't get honey like me, get yours with condensed or powdered milk like a real Brazilian!

Hot food case with some common salgadinhos (i.e. pão de queijo, risole, empadinha). There's another case with desserts

We live over on the Virginia side in Arlington so it's not often we make it over to this area. But when we are here, we make sure to stop by since there are some items they have here fresher/in greater supply than at European Foods Import/Export ... or the nearby Las Americas market around the corner. The most common items we make sure to pick up here: - More options of snacks and desserts, including imported Pé de Moleque or the fresh Pão de Mel you can get at the register - Various brands and genres of condiments and sauces, including molho de tomate from Elefante and Pomarola - A wider and fresher selection of breakfast and snack items, including Piraquê crackers and Pão de Queijo with Catupiry It's pretty cramped in here with how busy it gets, but to their credit the recent renovation (i.e. clearing and brightening up the main seating area) has improved things by leaps and bounds. I wouldn't recommend most of the salgadinhos -- they're edible but nothing special -- and parking here can be a nightmare sometimes. But for stocking up your pantry, this place has nearly everything you're looking for and is well worth the occasional trip.

What a cute little store!!! What a little cute store!!! What a store cute little! It looked like everything was so clean and new, so I was like "When did you guys open?". And then the cashier was like.. " 14 years ago"... "Store cute little a what?!" So we got a few pastries... all of which involved condensed milk... and all of which tasted a lot like condensed milk. We also got this sweet cornbread cake thing that was under a cloche (one of my favorite words- cloche)... and they have free mini cups of espresso style coffee that you can take. A bunch of brazilian products, including but not limited too, sandals, cookies, shampoo, etc. A ton of seating! Much more than you would think. Everyone was very nice. Definitely a family run operation. I'll definitly be back!

This place is a hidden gem! I am obsessed with their açaí bowls. The bowl is filled to the brim with delicious açaí and topped with granola, honey, bananas and strawberries. Unlike other açaí places I have tried, they give you so much açaí. Also they have two different sizes ( cup and bowl). I legit get this at least once a week.

Came in for the Açaí bowl, and it's probably the best I've ever had! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I didn't want banana in my bowl because I have an allergy, and they were quick to find an equally delicious substitute! Highly recommend for anyone lookingn to get an acai bowl or even just looking for local Brazilian foods!

I am so happy Home of Indus Foods opened up in Rockville. Although the name is similar to the store…read morein Silver Spring, the prices and the owners are different. I think so far, I am satisfied with the variety of foods and snacks offered, but be prepared for the bill to reflect the purchases, because I spent over $40 in less than five minutes and didn't even buy any meat! The owner is very nice as is the young man who stocks the shelves (I am sure he does other things too...). I was advised that I can call one day ahead and get fresh meat and if I purchase in arrival the meat will be frozen. Good to know!

This store has an outstanding selection of Indian and Pakistani spices, snacks, condiments, canned…read moredesserts, frozen prepared foods, rices, teas, jams and specialties that south Asians crave. They also offer a decent selection of vegetables for the Indian kitchen and boxes of mangos of course. The selection of Indian hair care products (e.g., henna) is unmatched in the DMV. If you need henna, go here. Why pay $20 at Whole Foods when you can get great Indian/Pakistani brands for under $5. The proprietor is particularly helpful and friendly and brings in all the good henna brands. I usually stock up and send out to friends. Friendliness by the store owner, a great stock of foods that make any Indian/Pakistani go "Aaaaah", and the henna are what keep me coming back here.
