Unfortunately malls are dying out and mall operators don't seem focused on pivoting to keep these public spaces open and going. Retailers need to start thinking outside the box and keep energy in these spaces or we will loose in person shopping and that would be such a shame. We did get a few things and shop around but we really expected more for a downtown mall. This needs once over by the developer and the City should be more concerned with its success.

Mall security is amped up. I saw a security guard doing a power walk towards a maybe homeless person inside. There's tons of stores inside and a nice variety. It's not the same as down south but still good with many quality places to shop from. The bathrooms definitely need more attention though. If you can avoid them, avoid them.

Since then, PetSmart, Kohl's, Sports Authority, Best Buy, and Lowe's have opened in this center. Everything and anything you need for gadgets, food, electronics, home textiles and more! Red Robin smartened up and moved across the street from Northway. I haven't been to the movie theater yet, but it's the only IMAX in the whole state.

Something I didn't care for was that two or three cashiers at the front were having their own loud conversation that wasn't very appropriate and they did not have the professionalism to cut the convo short for a minute and just resume after we checked out. The young man we had as our cashier though was incredibly professional and ultra polite. On the way out I grabbed a Fenty Gloss instead for my sister. Here's where the issue came in. I put my card in, put in my pin and it said take your card out. She then says oh it didn't go through. So I repeated the process and this time she said I have to call Corporate. It came up as a duplicate purchase. The manager comes over and he's TRYING to explain to me that it didn't go through. Until I pulled up my bank account and the debt is already out of my account. I showed him my account 3 times and he kept saying it will drop off. No it won't it already came out of my account that's why it's saying duplicate. After he comes back he brings a receipt that's 5 minutes after the first receipt that says voided in store. It wasn't a void. My daughter was being really polite but he came off as rude, very rude. He wasn't listening to what we were saying. His facial expression showed he didn't care it was his way or no way. He then said she has to pay for it ...again. I said no I don't want it. The two people working were amazing. They saw I was handicapped and needed just a little more help. They smiled and talked to me with respect just as I was doing with them. Bryce the manager was very rude and didn't care that it came out of My account all he wanted to do was mansplane to us. When my daughter asked his name he said it with an attitude. For no reason. No one raised their voice at him not once. I love Sephora but I will never in my Life go back to that location because of him. He makes no one want to shop. And they are having a good sale.

A sign at the cheese kiosk advertised 20% off Murray's Cambozola Black Label if you have a Fred…read moreMeyer loyalty card, which I do have. The unit price on the label/sticker was $24.99/lb. That's the price if you don't have the loyalty card and, thus, don't get the discount. The sticker then went on to show the "price with card," i.e., the discounted price, i.e. the 20% off price. And that unit price showed as $20.69/lb. That's a discount, yes, but it's not a 20% discount. To simplify, let's say the un-discounted unit price was $25/lb (a penny more than the actual un-discounted price). What's 20% of $25? Five dollars. So the discounted price with loyalty card should have been $20/lb. Another sign at the kiosk advertised 20% off Murray's Aged Manchego. Same problem: Fred's system didn't calculate the 20% correctly. The un-discounted unit price was $26.99/lb., but the same sticker showed the price with card to be $23.59/lb. Twenty percent off $26.99 is $21.59, not $23.59. So, I was being charged $2 more per pound than the advertised price on the sign right there at the kiosk. The nice young woman at the cheese kiosk seemed to understand what I explained to her in person, but she said she couldn't change the pricing; all the cheese sales staff does is weigh the portions and their system spits out a label. So I spoke in person to the man at the customer service counter, who also told me he couldn't change the pricing system and he didn't think anyone else in the store could, either. He noted that the PLU number on the sign didn't match the PLU on the sticker affixed to the hunk of cheese. I phoned and spoke with a grocery manager who did not listen, tried to say I misunderstood, then hung up on me. Then I phoned the 800 number and, once I got past the automated answering system and spoke to a person, she listened, seemed to understand, and said she'd pursue it. Bottom line for you, other Freddie's patrons, is: Check the math on the advertised discount. Make sure that the discount shown on the label agrees with the advertised discount.

I pulled into space number 17 and checked in with the color of my car. My check-in time was 6:23 PM. I waited and waited and waited. A guy came out with groceries and asked me for my pin number from the order and I gave it to him and he said oh I don't have the right order and will be out in a little bit. I waited and waited and waited. The lady next to me got her groceries after pulling in after me and said I may want to call the store number and let them know you've been waiting for over an hour. I did that at least four times and no answer. A guy was delivering groceries to someone else's car and I went over to him and I said it's been well over an hour and I still don't have my groceries and he said he would check into it next and bring them out. I waited another 15 minutes. I put in a call to the one 800 customer service and got a guy on the phone and he asked me all my information and he said he would check me in and I said I already did that at 6:23 PM. And he said he would do it again and by that time the guy finally came out with my groceries and he says well you have everything. I said well I'm not happy with the service and I feel as though I deserve something because my time is just as valuable as everybody else and it was clearly a complete screwup on their end. I said I'm not satisfied with that. He says well that's all he can do and I said it's not acceptable and I expect something and he hung up the phone on me. I went into the grocery store and talked to the manager and of course she wasn't very helpful. She said they had a refrigerator problem and the people had to run back back-and-forth in the store, not my problem. I got some sorry and there was nothing she could do so clearly she didn't care either. I called the one 800 customer service number back again and talk to a gentleman. explained the situation all over again. I said I feel as though my time is valuable and I'm not satisfied with how I was treated by anybody so far so he offered me a $10 coupon. To be honest with you, not looking to get my groceries for free, but certainly my time is worth more than $10 but at least he was decent to talk to and tried his best. It was a miserable order experience and doubt I would ever use it again if that's how they treat a so-called Walmart plus customer for their screw ups
