The walls are covered in artwork by local artists, concert posters of famous bands who performed locally, and some really fun stuff too, like a drawing by Bono that his friend gave him! Cool Beat has an awesome collection of vinyl. Both new and old and all different genres. The store is super organized and every artist/ record was easy to find. Wayne is always working on getting new music in so always check back in from time to time to find something new. He also sells cds, 45s, posters, and other retro Buffalo/ music related items. His store seriously has a great collection and his prices are extremely fair in comparison to other record stores in the area. He also has a stamp card to get $5 off when you spend $50. All in all, Cool Beat is hands down the best place to come if you truly appreciate music and want to support local business.

I could have spend hours going through all the great old vinyl that's in this small store. Prices of the albums were fair and the day I was there I received a 25% discount on the purchase of four or more used albums. My favorite find was an old Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart album BeckOla. Other customers in the store were equally excited as I was with all the great albums. And, hey Rob, I've got the four artists we discussed on the Romantic Warrior album. They are: Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White and Al DiMeola. PS I'm living in Hammondsport NY now, only 35 minutes from the CD CAFE, I will be back.
