The cake was unevenly baked and very dense and somewhat dry. It looks like it rose and then fell after baking. Flavor was great though! But the buttercream was sickeningly sweet. It was extremely stiff and dry because it was so heavily concentrated with powdered sugar and the raspberry had an off putting artificial taste. My guess is it was a raspberry imitation extract that we didn't like. But the candied raspberries were a sweet touch that we loved! It gave my whole family pretty intense heartburn and upset stomachs I think because of the extremely high sugar content. I can only speak for this one cake and can't speak for any other baked goods. I'd love to give this place a second try in the future but will just keep in mind that the cakes just don't quite suit my personal preference.

What is she hiding on the receipt she was so worried about? My guess is she is charging the customer a ridiculous amount and paying door dash very little to deliver her flowers.
