Chloee made herself available to answer questions one-on-one and also in the whole-group context. She included some suggestions for follow-up activities, including a visit to Graffiti Alley. The tour is about an hour which is the perfect amount of time for this area as it isn't huge. We had 4 other people with us so it was a pretty small tour. Our guide Caeli was great. She was enthusiastic and really had a passion for the city and it's history. She was half the fun of the tour. We learned a lot in a small amount of time. The tour ended with a couple of samples of chocolate from SOMA, which were incredible and led to us going back and purchasing some chocolates. There were also some beer samples included, and while we could have walked in and got samples on our own it was fun to do it with the group and to have Caeli's commentary while we sampled some of the different offerings. And yes, you read that correctly, it was FREE! Gaby, our guide, was on time and had great energy from the start. Upon meeting her we knew we were in good hands. She was super knowledgeable and we learned a lot of historical facts. She walked us through a lot of sites off the beaten path as well as iconic landmarks. Overall it is a 2 hour walking adventure so be sure to wear comfy shoes and bring water! Of note, this tour is rain or shine. It happened to be torrentially raining the morning of our tour. a Graffiti tour downtown? heck yeah I'm in! got to take a 2…read morehour Graffiti tour on the queen west neighborhood, and it was outstanding. our guide went through the different portions of the neighborhood and even had us walk through a good section of the famous graffiti alley. the guide also spoke with great passion about the history of graffiti throughout the last couple of decades, what to look out for, and also showed us a really cool hidden wall where the bricks are deteriorating due to all of the graffiti removal over the decades, the brick is physically missing due to this. really a top notch tour. be sure if you go on one of this tours to give the guide a donation at the end, as this not expected, but it is the right thing to do. a great way to kill a couple of hours downtown! would do it again!

I can't quite remember her name (apologies!) but our tour was on 05/27/19 at noon and our crew (especially the girl who gave the narration) had amazing humor, charm, and sass. We had also missed our 11am tour because we ran late in storing our luggage at a nearby storage locker and the staff person at the window had no issues rescheduling us for the 12pm tour. Amazing!
