I tried the birthday slice to see if I wanted to order a large for my son's bday. It tasted like boxed cake. Kinda disappointing. Same with the very average oatmeal cookie and cake pops. They open very late (like 2am) so kinda a hang out spot but the area is pretty quiet. Given the amount of options I'm willing to try again. Hopefully twice is a charm!

Better late than never lol this place is amazing and has a crazy variety of baked goods starting from pastries, croissants, cookies, birthday cakes, customized cakes, to ice creams and sundaes, salads and even savoury items. There are a few tables to sit and enjoy your treat as well. Oh and did I mention they also have coffee and beverages? Insane how much variety they have in the store. We tried their mousse (I forgot what the name was) and it was layered with cream, chocolate cake, brownie bites and chocolate sauce and tasted so good! Their cafe mocha is also quite delicious and I was surprised that it was only $5.5 - much cheaper than what you get downtown. The ice cream sundae was my boyfriend's favourite. It was loaded with brownies, vanilla ice cream and even a cone stuffed in. This was such a great find in Scarborough and I highly recommend people to try it!

The rose tea flavour was sooo good, I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did but it was the perfect mix of floral, sweet, and tea flavoured. I love how nothing tastes artificial. For around $10, it's a pretty solid place to grab some dessert. The only downside is that they have very limited seating here. We got lucky because a table was just leaving as we arrived, so we managed to snag a small table to sit and chat. But it still gets very crammed in there when there's usually a line that runs along the same area as their seating. This spot is best if you're coming to hang with one person, otherwise it's not very accommodating for groups due to the limitations of their space. Even still, you might not score a seat right away especially if you're coming during peak hours.

Visited this cafe and got their shiratama matcha & pistachio swirl parfait. The pistachio & matcha flavours were both very strong and went well together! I loved the red bean layer, and I like how it came with 6 mochi balls (great chewy texture). Would love to come back and try their matcha drinks. The black sesame matcha and red bean layer+ crystal jelly matcha caught my eye! Note that the space is small and there are only a few tables to sit around.

It had good earl grey flavor in the cake itself. The chestnuts on top and pureed chestnut were pretty good though could have been a bit sweeter. The cream in the cake was light and not too sweet. Overall, a good cake if you enjoy earl grey and chestnut. Price is pretty good for what you get and the fact that you can get it same day is great!

It causes the person you follow's reviews to tier to top when you pull up a business. I find this very handy when researching venues. Rod's Review grading scale explained. Essentially I personally base it on the likelihood of a return visit and I try to be stingy with 5 star reviews since they should be "special" in my eyes. Price/Value also play a role obviously but there are $ and $$$$ littered across my grading scale. 5 stars - "I'll go out of my way" (approx 6 % of my reviews) 4 stars- "If I was in the area I'd go here and would recommend", (approx 38% of my reviews) 3 stars "Maybe if was nearby", (approx 37% of my reviews) 2 stars -"Would likely not return, Only if you want to go", (approx 16% of my reviews) 1 star -"No thanks, even if I was hungry", (approx. 3 % of my reviews)

The party room is wited up with disco lights, a sound system, and most importantly, karaoke. We had a set menu buffet style for $30 per person. This includes soft drinks, coffee, dessert, the party room for 4 hours. The food included with the package were the following: 1. Steamed rice 2. Pancit bihon 3. Kare Kare peanut stew 4. The food was pretty good and was refilled by the staff. The fried chicken, beef caldereta, fish fillets, and pancit bihon were my favourites. The service was friendly, and they did a great job preparing the venue and food. Kudos to the hard-working staff. If you are looking for a smaller party venue to celebrate a special day, then you should definitely give them a call and make a reservation.
