We arrived at 5:30 p.m. and were seated immediately and right in front of the musicians. There were no menus for us but the hostess explained she had run out and would return with them. It took several minutes but she did return with them. We realized there was no bar menu at our table so I took the one from a nearby table. After 15 minutes I spoke to a young woman who was bussing the table behind us and told her we had not yet seen a member of the wait staff. She said she would look into it. Five more minutes went by and I stopped the hostess and told her we had not seen a waiter. She said she would look into it. Another five minutes goes by and finally Isaiah stopped at our table, apologized for our wait and took our drink order. He asked if we were there for the band and I said, "No, we are here for dinner." We ordered two Bantams. Finally, at 6 p.m. we left. Our beers never arrived. There was no apology from the hostess and we let the waiting customers know unhappy we were with the service. No one should have to wait for 30 minutes for a beer at a brewery. We were totally ignored by your staff. We will not return.

Our group (around 60 people) ranged from current Ball State students to people who graduated in '02 and everyone had a great time. There were a couple of bartenders, someone working the door, and an audio guy included in the price, plus we got a great deal on pizzas to bring in from Greek's by mentioning our event at BHN. Yes the bathrooms are dive-y, but it's a small tradeoff if you want to have a fun event in a place that doesn't feel like a sterile conference room. Most of us ended up staying past our rental time to afterparty in the bar. Here's hoping this place and The Chug never turn into condos!

How great can the food be, really? Um, pretty freaking great, actually. I got a fish sandwich, which was a long filet of battered and fried fish, served on an ultra-soft hoagie roll, with a little lettuce and tartar sauce inside. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, and flaky and soft on the inside. It's the type of thing that I didn't want to stop eating, because the combination of textures was just perfect. Handhelds are served with a side, and I chose the side Caesar salad. It was an OK Caesar, and it did its job to satisfy my CaeSal craving. It comes with red onions on top, which is a choice. The service here was great. The restaurant has a big bar in the middle, with TVs showing sports. The whole place is surrounded by windows, so you can see out into downtown Muncie.

No, it's RoHo's, as in the first two letters of the owners' names: Rogers and Howell. Clever! When I visited RoHo's, the place was hopping. It was comedy night, and I could barely find a seat. I ended up sitting on a couch with three women I didn't know, but they were people who were beautiful and amazing, and did amazing things in the community. I lucked out! The service here is so efficient and friendly. Despite the crush of people, I managed to get my French 77 quickly. It was well balanced and very tasty, and made me feel so much better about being surrounded by strangers. Mostly, though, RoHo's specializes in martinis.
