Odd questions since I'd been standing there looking at the menu that was on the bar as well as looking at the beers they had listed on the board. I ordered a wheat blonde beer and told her I also wanted to place a food order. She told me I couldn't do that there, and said I needed to order from the food truck table. That table had a chalkboard with their three specials, different items than the bar menu so I ordered off of that, was given a pager and headed outside (The food truck girl was very kind and asked where I was sitting but I hadn't picked a table yet) I ordered a cauliflower margarita pizza which was just the right size to pair with my beer. It came out quick and hot and tasted good. I sat at my table eating alone and enjoying the music but found that that's what everyone was doing. Sitting at their own tables. The brewery has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of seating. It was busy for a weekday evening but not overcrowded, and we were able to grab seats at the bar. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. The beer selection was excellent with a wide variety of styles to choose from. The flight was a great value, and the pours were surprisingly generous. We especially enjoyed the American Amber Ale, but there were several other standouts, including the New England IPA. If you're a craft beer fan, you'll have no trouble finding something you like. The biggest surprise of the evening was the pizza from the food truck outside. It was outstanding. I've had pizza all over the country, and this was honestly some of the best I've ever had. The crust, sauce, and toppings were all spot on. The two guys running the pizza truck were incredibly friendly, and it's easy to see they take pride in what they do. After enjoying some great beer and incredible pizza, we spent some time playing cornhole and just relaxing. The brewery also has a nice gift shop with bottled beers and souvenirs if you're looking to take something home. If you're visiting Cooperstown, especially for a baseball tournament, Cooperstown Brewery is absolutely worth a stop. The beers were cold and tasty. The best thing was being able to sit outside on such a gorgeous day. There is a bar and some tables inside but we couldn't stay inside on a day like this. Outdoor seating is at picnic tables in an area around the perimeter of the brewery but there is ample lawn space where dogs are welcome and cornhole can be played.

This brewery, originally founded in Queensbury, NY, opened this outpost in May and was thankfully open on Labor Day. The vibe is laid-back with a good amount of airman-style décor, and we were greeted by Shug, the shop dog--a super friendly Newfoundland who instantly set the tone. The bartender was warm, welcoming, and easy to chat with. Even at the tail end of a busy holiday weekend, when they were out of a few beers, there were still solid options on tap plus canned cocktails from other NY-based distillers. Food came from the onsite truck--standard bar fare but executed really well. We had the pretzel sticks and a grilled cheese with onion rings, and both were excellent pairings for the drinks. They offer flights, but since I usually stick to wheat beers (and they had just run out), I went with water and the canned cocktails. The beer lovers with me all found plenty to enjoy from the tap list. Overall, this spot has that easygoing farm-brewery vibe that makes it a great stop in the area. I'll definitely be checking out one of their other locations soon to finally try their wheat beer!

He was so friendly and helpful, making suggestions on the beer he'd recommend and letting us sample a few. The beers we ordered were outstanding; the summer ale was one of the finest and smoothest I've had. I mixed it with the blackberry sour, which was fruity and tart. Our kids had a great time playing games while we lounged and socialized on the couches. There was a food truck, and the menu at the brewery looked great, too, but we'll have to check that out next time. Can't wait to stop in again on our next visit.

There were a few regular tables along the perimeter among the high top tables but I chose to sit at the bar. The other patrons were very friendly and included me in their conversation. The beer was crisp and cold. The food came out rather quickly. The nachos were topped with beer cheese, fresh pico de gallo, sour cream, and scallions. There was a very generous amount of sour cream so I didn't have to worry about just eating chips. The bartender kept everyone served and knew what the regulars drank. She checked on me regularly. My only disappointment is that as summer comes to an end I will have to wait until next year to attend the events they have at the brewery.
