I only paid for her expertise in eyeliner. She said I must of had a 'friend' do it. I don't select beauty professionals based on friendship, hence why I went to Penny. She is not my friend. I've had my brows microbladed twice before by professionals based on qualifications, recommendations and testimonies. I chose Penny for my eyeliner. She should of taken a compliment in that department. Don't put me down because I didn't select you for another service. I thought women were supposed to build each other up... not put them down. For someone in the beauty industry trying to make people look beautiful on the outside, I am baffled why she would try to break me down on the inside. And not to mention she was 10 minutes late to our appointment, never apologized and then decided to insult me with 'my bad brow'.

I finally decided to have them redone and decided to have them done at Chrysalis Clinic. First they were micro bladed twice with something to lighten them. Then they were finally done in a light brown. Sadly the brown lasted a few weeks. As they healed the color just disappeared. There are two problems with my eyebrows and both could have and should have been avoided. It should been made known to me during my consultation that having my eyebrows micro blades three times would leave my eyebrows indented. Basically skin layers gone forever. It also should have been known that micro blading does not go deep enough to cover up a tattoo done with needles. It was money wasted. I now need to have my brows done again by an actual tattoo artist.

I requested a natural result to enhance my natural freckles and compliment my olive complexion, instead in response she asked what color I wanted, a total abdication of her professional responsibility, and expertise as a cosmetic tattoo/permanent makeup artist. The tattoos healed extremely dark, gray/black-brown, and completely unnatural. When I reached out to address the issue, she refused to offer any correction measures, stating she could lighten them but only if I paid full price. Given how poorly they were done, I wouldn't be surprised if the darkness was intentional, knowing she could charge to lighten them. It's been 5 years of hating my skin every time I look in the mirror, and currently pursuing full removal elsewhere. I will never return to the women who permanently ruined my appearance and refused to correct her mistake. Five years later, these tattoos still resemble blackheads and make my skin look awful. I am sharing this review, along with my photos, to prevent anyone else from experiencing the same disastrous, permanent results.

I'm Caucasian with brown hair and had decent brow shape, just thinning as I'm in my early 50's. I was tired of my brows looking too light and "washed out" without makeup, so I asked Laura for something that looked natural but defined, and she NAILED IT with the powder ombré technique. I've had several appointments with different Estheticians, and they've all been wonderful. They keep excellent records and only use high-quality products that my skin loves. They don't push the products on you, but they're there if you want them...it's been a great experience. Also, and this may be weird, but the hot towels don't smell! If you get facials often, then you may know what I mean. When they put a hot towel on your face, and it smells musty or weird....so gross. Total turn off.
