This thing is crazy good, and the meat and avoado ratio great. Could you slightly more meat, but I am picky. APPLE PIE POCKETS (MUST HAVE) - their take on McDonald's favorite apple pie: to me these things were like friend chinese dumplings/wontons that you would get with apple filling inside. wow different taste, and very delicious Atlantic Salmon Protein: I was quite excited to try this and loaded up my plate with the Atlantic salmon, but when I bit into it, it was not as good as I had imagined. While the Salmon is really meaty, i would say the it was poorly marinated (lots of seasoning on top though) Grilled Chicken BBQ: Chicken was good, but dont think the Orzo with wilted spinach and spring onion, grilled corn is a good match. Maybe try to pair it with Pesto and it would much better. Pesto: regular old pasta, but excellent. The pasta wasnt stiff or soft and was just right. White Chocolate, Chocolate Cookie: just your regular old cookie that you can get at the store. however the sides had some caramelized sugar on them

(Fool me once, twice, and being the fool I must be, three times). But MAAS ! Now there is nothing wrong with a good ham and cheese sandwich, but constantly labelling this sandwich as Proscuitto is quite a stretch. The Ham is quite ordinary -- not even Black Forest or Virginia (more like Kraft packaged) and an ordinary Swiss cheese (no Italian cheese to accompany the faux proscuitto. I do NOT like the false pretense, and the arrogance to think that we are that dumb not to know the difference. This kind of false labelling causes me to distrust what is actually in these sandwiches that they label as vegan, etc etc., as well as any of their pricier items. Others in my firm agree, but the price is right for us (free) so no one wants to look at this gift horse; but frankly, knowing in advance who is providing our "free lunch", I will plan on a slice of great pizza. I do recommend their Salads.

I have tried a lot of catering food consisting of under-seasoned chicken and overcooked salmon, but this was anything but. All the proteins we chose (grilled chicken, seared salmon, grilled shrimp, and crispy tofu) were seasoned well and not overcooked. There were so many veggie sides. My favorites were avocado, glazed walnuts, charred cauliflower, blistered tomatoes, fire-roasted garlic broccoli, and roasted beets. Everyone got to compose their own protein + grain + veggie plate. I joked to the other guests that I felt like this was Thanksgiving, but with better healthier options. This was the first "Thanksgiving" that I did not get food coma after a filling meal.

Next to the Chatham Green complex and across from Police Plaza there is a pop-up serving meals, breakfasts and lunches, that I had been overlooking, to my detriment. They call it a "summer pop-up" so this sorely needed source of prepared meals is in question as to how long this will continue. They have tables set up on the sidewalk, that is sparsely trafficked. So you can enjoy a nice quiet meal, unlike the others that are located next to busy streets. Don't mind the police barricades, as the street is fully open to pedestrians. I am so satisfied. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The pork was so tender, delicious on nice quality Italian bread. The food was served up promptly, and hey, for the Manhattan location, and quality food, prices are more than reasonable, and this is a bargain with a capital "B". The menu changes with the day of the week. You can see them online at www.deborahmillercatering.com.

Communication with them was very thorough and detailed while we were calling or emailing back and forth prior to the party, and then on the day-of, Ralph and another guy came right on time and somehow set up all the food trays (including burners, large coffee dispenser, utensils and plates, etc) in my small kitchen in a matter of minutes. They were extremely efficient and courteous, and the display looked lovely and fit for a nice brunch celebration. Now on to the food itself - it was DELICIOUS. I was expecting just normal brunch food, but they went above and beyond. The eggs had nice seasoning with scallions on top, there was an array of 8 different kinds of breakfast sandwiches/wraps with matching salsas and sauces, the french toast had really nice and unique fruit on it complete with syrup on the side, the sausage was perfectly done, as were the potatoes. Every single one of my guests was complimenting the food. Everything was complete including a fruit platter, pastry platter, coffee/juice, utensils/plates/cups, etc. We ate a lot, and still had so much leftover. These guys are pros. I was thrilled with them as they made my party very special, and am now looking for an excuse to throw another large party so I can use them and have their delicious food again :)

No one had anything but praise over the food. My only regret is not ordering more French Brie, granny smith apple and celery root remoulade sandwiches. Those were the favorite. Since that lunch, I've had several friends go back and buy tartes and various ready-made party plates, which also received nothing but high praise. Definitely recommend Brooklyn Fare if you're looking for decently priced gourmet catering.

Everything we asked for was executed perfectly--and honestly, it went above and beyond what we expected. Throughout the night, guests kept coming up to us saying how amazing the food was. Many people mentioned it without us even asking, which is how we knew they truly meant it. Olga was incredible to work with. Our wedding happened during the coldest weekend in NYC, and she had already thought through a plan to keep the food warm and everything running smoothly. She even surprised us by serving guests hot toddies while they waited to enter the ceremony, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. The food, the staff, the organization--everything was top-notch. Olga made sure she connected with every vendor so everyone was aligned and nothing slipped through the cracks. Anytime I reached out just to double-check a detail, she was already five steps ahead and made me feel like we were in GREAT hands. I've been to a lot of weddings, and I can confidently say this was the best wedding food I've ever had--and our guests agreed. If you want an amazing experience and food that people will be talking about long after your event, Marcy Brownstein and Olga are the team to trust. I promise!
