Josh called day of and said they could come a little earlier than the appointment window, which worked out fine. As I suspected the 60-year-old drain pipe had a hole, actually a crack when he pulled it off. They installed a shielded rubber coupler with the pipes at an angle and a unshielded coupler outside. I was referred to Zoom Drain by Transit and Flow for jetting and a camera inspection after a…read morebasement backup issue. The technician told me he could not get past 45 feet of line and suggested there was a collapsed pipe in my yard. I was verbally quoted a repair in the $6,000-$18,000 range. Before committing to a repair of that size, I obtained a second opinion. The second plumbing company cleared a blockage and provided video confirmation that there was no collapse or structural damage. Based on the major misdiagnosis, I requested a refund under their advertised 100% satisfaction guarantee. Communication was slow, and I was made to feel like the video proof I provided from the second company was insufficient (even though it was time stamped, dated, and I shared the invoice summary). I initially received only a partial refund. After multiple follow-ups and escalation to ownership, I was ultimately refunded in full. I'm sharing this so others (especially first time homeowners) understand the importance of getting a second opinion before approving major excavation or high-cost repairs. While the final outcome was a full refund, it required time and persistence to resolve.

Plumbing Service on 8/2/2025…read more I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the plumbing service I received from Zoom Drain on August 2, 2025. I contacted your company for three issues: 1. A clogged drain in my walk-in tub 2. A replacement for the tub's drain stopper 3. A small leak under the kitchen sink I was told there would be a $200+ service charge--regardless of whether any work was completed. That should have been my first red flag. When the technician, Eric, arrived, it quickly became clear that he did not know what he was doing. Not only did he fail to resolve any of the issues, but he also managed to make the situation worse. As for the simple task of replacing a drain stopper, I was told it would require an entirely separate visit. Seriously? This is unacceptable. I paid for a service and received nothing of value in return. There was no resolution, no professionalism, and certainly no reason to justify the cost. I trusted your company to provide reliable service, but this experience has felt like nothing short of a scam. I will be sharing my experience publicly so others can avoid the same mistake. Use this company at your own risk.
