Hired Cameron's electrical to install two generartor outlet boxes, interlock kit, two outlets,…read morewhole home surge protector and natural gas connection for tri fuel generator. The electricians and HVAC employees came on time and did a great job. I haven't seen the final cost yet, but the original price quote seemed fair for the type work done.

I have used Cameron's electrical service many times and thought electrician 'R' was really good…read more However, on 8/18 I was totally dissatisfied with the cost of $305 for the service. I will never use them again nor recommend them in local websites. On 8/15, I called and spoke to manager 'B' and asked about the cost for electrician 'R' to install two-(2) garage outside wall lights. 'B' said less than one hour. The first hour is $170 and it would be less than 1 hour for electrician 'R' to install the lights and that he would have some time to do something else. 'B' said nothing about sending an apprentice. On 8/18 'R' showed up however, he brought a apprentice. The apprentice shorted out a GFCI and it took 15 minutes to find the main GFCI. The bill stated: $170 for electrician $135 for trainee. $305 Total I had to pay for 2 people to do a ONE MAN JOB. Basically, I paid for the cost to train the apprentice. No one paid me to go to college. THIS WAS A ONE MAN JOB AND FOR A RESIDENTIAL SERVICE CALL. WHY DID CAMERON's SEND TWO-(2) PEOPLE. While Cameron's deducted $40 from the invoice, however if I did not complain, I would be stuck with full cost. How many residential customers foolishly pay to train Cameron's employees? An old IBEW union electrician's joke; How many electricians does it take to change a light bulb. TWO: ONE to hold the bulb and ONE to turn the ladder. Camerons is ignoring their responsibility of loyalty, openness & honesty to their residential customers.

WARNING - AVOID THIS COMPANY WHEREVER POSSIBLE…read more The company damaged our property by not following clear instructions that I provided, and once confronted gave illogical reasons why the damage caused by THEIR negligence, wasn't THEIR fault. These guys seemed nice --- until something goes wrong. Stay away from this company as they do not take any responsibility for their own bad decisions and negligence. I'm shocked at how they treated us when things they did went wrong. I found another reputable well company in about 15 minutes. If you do something wrong, take responsibility like the rest of us do! Trust me, you can do better. The owner never made it out to my property to see the damage done, despite my invitation to review it with me. Here is a picture of where their trench digger hit my electric. It is pretty clear where the electric exits the building and goes underground. Facts: #1. I asked the workers to "hand dig" the three foot area where the electric obviously came out of the building. I didn't want them getting hurt, and I didn't want them hitting the electric lines. #2 - They agreed to hand dig this area, #3 - They later made an executive decision (without talking to me) to use the trencher in this area, after they hit some rocks. So after: I asked them to hand dig this area, After they agreed to hand dig this area, They decided to use a large piece of digging materials in the same area and oddly enough, they hit an electric wire that took down the electricity to half my property. Despite my instructions, and the obvious location of the electric wire (see picture)...they negligently decided to dig where anyone can see that there were electric wires. Accidents happen, but negligence followed by lack of accountability is the only reason I am posting here. Yes they do good work, but when accidents happen --- they run.

I used this company to inspect the well and well pump and to test the water on a house I am buying…read more The gentleman showed up on time, but my realtor did not. Today's house door locks used by realtors are opened by keyless internet connection. Inspection companies pay around $200/yr to have this service. Ask before hiring an inspection company about this!!! I wasted an hour of time and was late to work as this company does not subscribe to the internet lock service. The realtor had to meet the man from the company later in the day so I am unable to review the actual inspection. However I can review the service after inspection. I received a phone call regarding the results and an email with the results. I am satisfied for the money paid to this company and would be willing to recommend the company.

We also wanted an an estimate for a new humidifier, to change out the lavatory handles that had been installed backwards, replace a utility room faucet, and to do a general inspection of all the plumbing In our house. We have plans to add a new bathroom to our unfinished basement and he had good advice about that. The humidifier went in without a hitch! The handles on the lavatories were changed without a problem! The new utility sink faucet that was installed was a dream! My lavatory leaks though...these had to be tinkered wIth several times., on several different days. You are thinking, WHY FIVE STARS???? This is why! Our plumber came out several times, in a very timely manner, to make things right. He could have easily told us that this was a worse repair than what it was. He was unfailingly polite, and optimistic and got the leak problem solved. Everyone that I've talked to or dealt with at Mattioni Plumbing has been very profesdional and helpful. I look forward to calling them for our basement bathroom project because I am sure that they willl do it right, and more importantly, if there are any unforeseen problems, THEY WILL MAKE IT RIGHT!
