I have been driving my Ram around for 5 years with a severely cracked windshield…read more I kept putting off a replacement because I routinely get rocks hitting my shield on the freeway and little cracks cost a grip to fix, and I don't have glass coverage with my insurance. I finally couldn't take it anymore and I used Yelp to help me get quotes on windshield replacements. Glass Doctor offered a warranty for free chip repairs over the life of the glass on a high-quality Aftermarket windshield. Their price and warranty easily beat the big name glass company. Greg handled all my questions and pricing conveniently through the Yelp app and I finally got the replacement. I really wish I would have done this years ago because it went so smoothly and it took maybe an hour to complete. I love driving and not having to contort to see through the cracks in my old glass! In fact, I even had a big rock bounce off the new windshield on the freeway (these rock trucks on the freeway leave a trail of tears for all of us!) and it left no damage at all. Better glass or luck? I'll take both! Thanks Glass Doctor team! You were all wonderful, friendly and skilled at your craft. I do not typically leave business reviews. I am posting this for others to be informed and to…read moresummarize the service issues I encountered. When obtaining quotes for a windshield replacement, this company was not the lowest bidder. I selected them because they represented themselves as providing high-quality service and cited a national accreditation. Service was scheduled for December 4, 2025. Prior to the replacement, I informed the technician that a dash camera was mounted on the windshield. He stated this would not be an issue and that he would remove it, with the understanding that I would reinstall it after the replacement. During the installation, the technician cracked the windshield from the interior while attempting to attach the rearview mirror. I understood that mistakes occur, and it was agreed that the windshield would be replaced the following day. On December 5, 2025, the windshield was replaced a second time. After the technician left, I discovered that the windshield wipers did not work. This occurred during a storm, and I had to wait over an hour for a third visit to correct the issue. I was informed that the wipers had not been reinstalled properly on the gearbox. After these visits, I was left to vacuum glass shards from the first broken windshield out of the vehicle. On December 21, 2025, when I attempted to reinstall the dash camera using the USB cable that had been left accessible near the headliner as agreed, the device did not receive power. It was later determined that the dash camera wiring had been damaged during one of the windshield replacements, causing a short and a blown fuse. The damaged wires appeared to have been twisted back together and tucked into the headliner, which was extremely concerning. On December 22, 2025, I requested a call from the business owner to discuss these issues. Instead, I received a text message stating that safety concerns are taken seriously and that I would be contacted shortly. No further contact occurred until January 7, 2026, when I was informed that the company would not accept responsibility for the wiring damage but offered a negligible discount for the windshield. I declined the discount and was seeking acknowledgment of responsibility rather than continued deflection. I can only hope this experience is an outlier. The attached video (explicative warning) shows the dash camera functioning at the time it recorded the initial windshield cracking during installation, and the attached photo shows the damaged wiring as discovered. There are additional and unfortunate details, but I am only summarizing the main issues and am ready to move on. Altogether, this turned into multiple appointments, follow-ups, cleanup, and troubleshooting that took far more of my time and energy than I could have ever imagined.

They stole my windshield and left my car undriveable…read more The insurance sent these guys out for a windshield replacement. Once the windshield was off, the tech found a 1" x 1" spot of rust, informed me that Safelite will not install over rust and refused to go any further. I showed him that the rust was totally surface rust (it came off in literally 10 seconds with a wire brush. See attached before and after photos). But he called his manager and she said that she had seen the pictures he sent to her and would not let him install it. I said, "fine, then put my old windshield back on," to which I was told that they could not because of the "moldings". The manager (who was on the tech's speaker phone) told me to have it towed to a body shop to have the rust fixed (at my expense of course), then ordered the tech to pack up and leave. They literally vandalized my car and left it undriveable. I was absolutely dumbfounded. And here's the kicker: Safelite installed the previous windshield! Which means that they either installed it over that rust-spot before without an issue, or they were the ones who did not seal it properly so it could rust. Unbelievably terrible customer service. This is tantamount to a carpenter coming to your house to install a new front door, removing the old one, finding a problem beneath and saying, "sucks to be you," and leaving with no front door on your house! I had no words.

I made a glass claim through my insurance company and went to this location to have a windshield…read morereplaced and a lane departure camera calibrated. The replaced the windshield but we unable to calibrate the camera. They set me away with a dash full of flashing lights and told me to go to the dealership to have it calibrated. They too my full deductible and told me that my insurance would pay the dealership. Next morning at the dealership, I'm told it's an out of pocket payment and it will get reimbursed. I called the Safelite shop that did the work and was told that he had never heard of a dealership that wouldn't manage an insurance claim. I spoke Safelite customer service and was told that most dealerships do not and that I was misinformed. Overall, this was handled poorly and I will never return to this location.

I'm new here though and don't have my own auto body shop. I saw they had good reviews though so thought we'd give it a try. I can't say enough good things about this location!!! Jennifer and Kelsey (sorry if I misheard your names) were beyond amazing. My car is my baby so I was pretty upset when I brought her in. I also have had awful experience with crash repairs and the whole process. They called my rental for me so I didn't have to worry about it. Went over all the damage I had, answered all my questions and were just genuine human beings. Soooo nice. They got started on my car right away and Duran called to tell me what he found, the eta and some of the extra stuff. I had some aftermarket things they had to find to replace. He answered my questions and explained so much and said he would call every Tuesday & Thursday with updates. He definitely didn't seem to be penny pinching on my parts either. OEM which is what you deserve! I kid you not he did what he said. Called EVERY Tuesday and Thursday. The last time we talked he said your car will be done probably Monday and they will call you. Yep that's exactly what happened!!! I have some special decals on the back of my car, one isn't made anymore. Duran was able to get them off and put them on my new liftgate!!!!! There are a few extras that haven't come in yet but my car is functional without them so I'm glad he let me bring her home! When I went to pick her up, they went over everything again! And even called the rental place for me... again!!!! Seamless and an incredibly easy process!! The communication alone makes me want to come back here for personal repairs!!! She looks good!! Thank you for making everything soooo easy & taking such good care of my baby! I appreciate your staff being soo nice and helpful!!!

When I called to set up the repair, Hailey set clear expectations of the repair check in process and how to move forward. At drop off, Juan, Hailey and Leslie (sorry if I got your names wrong!) informed me of repair turnaround time and how the repair process worked. They let me know due to my car being the current year, it may take longer for parts to arrive. They encouraged me to call back at any time if I had any questions or just wanted an update. Throughout the repair process they contacted me multiple times to keep me updated and answered all of my - many - questions. When I got my car back, it looked better than it did when I bought it. I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and willingness to help that the employees showed. I have NEVER had this level of customer service with any other business in the automotive industry! These employees deserve a raise! Thank you so much to everyone who helped work on my car. I look forward to working with Gerber in the future!
