Came from Randa near Zermatt. Took the train first to Stalden-Saas. And then from there the Postauto No. 511 to Saas-Fee.
A very nice route, well-maintained busses and friendly drivers both ways. Had a dog-stroller with us and the driver helped us loading and unloading it (in the bus trailer).
It's big bus-hub and a busy one. Of course especially in winter, when people come here for skiing. We came for the village and a walk in the snow.
The bus terminal is well organised, you can buy tickets via App or at one of the counters at the terminal. The bus will open a few minutes before departing. Before that there is a covered and heated waiting area and a kiosk nearby. Also free and clean bathrooms downstairs around the corner.
A great option if you don't want to arrive with your own car. The bus brings you right into the heart of Saas Fee. The old village is only steps away. read more
