Racist bartenders and servers - And I mean Down South levels of racism that were unseemly in the 1970s. If you're Latino or Black, I would advise watching the bartenders closely and counting your change. 2. Slow - Don't expect your food in a timely manner 3. Restrooms - If you like urine on the floors, this is the place for you. 4. Noisy - So loud that you have to get close to the person sitting next to you to have a conversation. Apparently patrons are supposed to drink quietly. 5. Unfriendly crowd - Has a "Cheers-like" vibe except if the Cheers crowd had stared at and glared at every patron who they didn't recognize. Actually had a guy scoot his bar stool away from me when I sat down next to him and he made a big production fo doing it. Did I mention the racism? The portions here are absolutely legendary. A slice of cake is practically the size of your head. Order a "small" grilled chicken sandwich and you'll get enough chicken breast to feed a family. The BLT? An entire head of iceberg lettuce, enough bacon for four people, and what seems like an entire loaf of bread! You may experience a little sticker shock when you see the prices, but trust me--you need to come hungry! These portions are enormous, and you'll almost certainly be leaving with enough leftovers to keep you fed for days. When you consider how much food you're actually getting, the whole experience makes a lot more sense. It's unlike anything you'll experience anywhere else, and that's exactly what makes Harold's so much fun. And you absolutely cannot visit without checking out the Pickle Bar! They also have plenty of parking, lots of seating, basic ambiance and attentive staff. Whether you're a New Jersey native or just visiting, Harold's is definitely worth experiencing at least once!

Also got the Buffalo cauliflower bites and wings. They were able to let us select two sauces which was nice. Would recommend staying away from the lemon pepper dry rub- was way too acidic and salty for my liking. Nice vibe and they have two single stall bathrooms that are pretty spacious.
