Left on my 735 mile road trip to get caught in traffic sudden slow down on the interstate. My car immediately started making awful popping noises. I went to another reputable mechanic out of state. They had to tighten down bolts, etc on the work done at Victory Lane. I assumed all is well because it was driving fine, unfortunately, I was very wrong. By the time I got to my destination, my wheel was about to fall off. After three mechanics and multiple visits and another almost $2000 I find out the original work done by Victory Lane wasn't even needed to start with because they replaced brand new parts that had been replaced a year before. I highly recommend to avoid these people. I've tried to be nice and work with them. They won't even refund the first mechanic which was only $150. I'm also going to turn them into the Better Business Bureau, be smart go anywhere else but here.

It was Friday night in Roanoke Rapids, and I was 200-hundred miles from home, and 200-miles from my scuba dive site. Instead of diving, I spent Saturday calling every auto shop in RR; they were either closed on weekends (What is the logic behind that...cars break on weekends too!?!?!) or they did not have the equipment to fix my car. I thought I was going to be stuck in RR until Monday. On Sunday, I expanded my search list to surrounding towns. I came across a shop in Gaston. Although that shop cannot fix my car, the mechanic referred me to Turner's. I called Mr. Turner and explained my dilemma. He told me to have the car towed to his shop immediately so they can fix it, and get me back on the road the same day. Woohoo! What a relief that was. Since I am not a mechanic, I will probably embarrass myself attempting to explain their work. Therefore, I will only say this much: Turner Mechanics are professionals when it comes to autos. They fixed my car, and I was back on the road in the afternoon. I wish the shop is located closer to me, because there is no doubt that I would take my cars to Turner's for everything--I trust their workmanship, 100%.
