Here's my story you be the judge and jury. So I drop my gas powered yamaha golf cart off to be fixed. They fix it apparently and I pay $500 gladly but when i get home it doesn't work so I haul it back up. The mechanic apparently fixes it for another $400. He takes it on a ride and it dies on him before I show up to pick it up. He looks sees some wires are burned up and says the carts probably not worth replacing it doesn't run then within a second of that hes trying to sell me a new golf cart? So I look at it and I see a wire disconnected not saying anything yet? I agree to fix wiring harness...the manager is nice and wants to make it right. He comes out takes a look, I mention the wire. The mechanic hooks up the wire and it runs? What a miracle? ..but the wires are still burned up so they agree "to make it right sir!" I pay them $300 in good faith because I.want the cart for the kids!The mechanic calls me back a day later and says another $400 for the harness so I agreed and asked where he found it he told me. I hung up called the Yamaha place and found the price was less then $100. So I call back talk to the mechanic and tell him not to order I found the part for less than $100 HE TELLS ME "THAT'S WHAT THE SHOP UPCHARGES AND THERE WILL BE NO LABOR CHARGE." REALLY MAN after you tried to steal my cart by saying it didn't work and get me to buy a new one!...you put the wire on and it worked really! To say the least this mechanic has no idea what he's doing or he's a con man. l've never had worse service then this place. I do appreciate Russell trying to help but you didn't go far enough your employe should never be allowed to talk on the phone hes clueless. After $700 of unneeded parts the carts still messed up but they feel ok about. Don't waste your time at this place find a place that knows customer service these people are clueless and quite frankly a lil shady for my taste.

But if anything is questioned she quickly becomes unprofessional. My car has been safety inspected there (and passed) for years and years. Now it will not pass because of the window tint. Nothing changed-same window tint during all these years. When I questioned the inconsistency she basically told me to shut up by saying "we're not having this conversation". A few minutes later when she spoke to me I returned the favor and told her the same thing. You could have just said "Yes, you did not change and your car did not change. We changed and now we are stricter. Sorry about that". I will never go to Pete Smith Lube and Tire again as long as Cheryl is there.

I even had to go and have the brand new tires I just put on rebalanced at a different shop as they put the weights on backwards. I immediately noticed the difference in drive the moment I drove on the highway leaving their shop. Spent an additional 35.00 just to have the tires rebalanced and they showed me just how imbalanced they were. I will never return to this shop and we recommend to everyone don't do business here. As Cheryl wasn't having a bad day seeing the many complaints about her on the web. Wish I had of known before coming here.
