I'm visiting with my family and wanted some chicken livers. I have never been to a bush's chicken. The drive thru was busy but they were on top of things. As I pulled thru a friendly staff came to my car and took my order. I ordered the chicken livers and fries. They were served hot and fresh! All the staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be back for more. read more

Ordered Uber Eats, they never made the food, yet they're still getting the full cost of it in the cancellation fee. If you're going to be the only Bush's in 2 counties that accepts Uber Eats orders, you have no business taking money for food you won't make. You wasted mine AND the dasher's time, and still got my money. Unacceptable. read more

They told me the prices and the specials that weren't listed Employees were friendly.Had to wait a little but food was fresh and hot.

got a two piece chicken leg out of the breast. Chicken was dry as hell for five minutes before I got to the meat, which is very little burnt lots of battered crust though. would've gave zero stars, but I had to save your time and money. Go get a rotisserie chicken at H-E-B. read more

Oh my gosh this was good! If I could give it 6 stars I would. I recently moved to Texas and I had never heard of Bush's Chicken. However, after today I will be going there regularly. The sweet tea is delicious as advertised! Very sweet, but not too sweet, good southern stuff. The chicken is flakey, tender, and flavorful! I am not a big fan of crinkle fries but these are crispy and salty. Saving the best for last, this country gravy is AMAZING. Plus, the meal is the perfect size for leftovers. I will be going back. A lot. read more

Well I know now why this place gets bad reviews - service and food was lacking. The A/C was broke so it was really hot. We ordered a 10 piece meal with coleslaw and mashed potatoes as our sides. We waited over 15 min for them to cook the chicken. They were not busy at all, there were a few drive through orders but mostly the staff was just standing around. When we got home we had coleslaw and big and small containers of gravy - no mashed potatoes. My husband called to complain and they said if he want to drive back they would give him mash potatoes. Well no, we were not driving back to get mashed potatoes. The whole point in getting take out is so when you get home you can eat and not have to go back out. Also the coleslaw was horrible and the chicken wasn't that good either. If this is how the business is run then I am surprised it is still operating. read more

Why don't you all menu match the prices on the outside ,wall why do you all add two more dollar and then tax to the prices and one of your employees said its a sign that says prices subject to change why same food nothing extra a 7.99 meal price went up to 9.99 and 2 extra rolls cost Me almost 13.00 and I didn't get the ketchup and salt I ask for tpbtop things off help me make sense of that if it was for me I would have got my money but my 97 year old grandma ask me to get for after her doctor appt read more

Awful absolutely awful. Got 3 meals 2 of which were wrong. Mashed potatoes were literally liquid the chicken tenders were TINY not too mention 2 of the drinks were wrong. The Mac n cheese is basically water with cheese flavoring and noodles. No solid consistency at all. The tender meal is like $8 and was not worth it at all ! read more

Bush's Chicken - Their "chicken tender" - Fast Food Near Me - Temple, Texas

The bushes chicken on West Adams is the worst place I've ever purchased food from. I got totally cold chicken after spending $54 for 15 pieces of chicken yes $54 for 15 pieces of chicken and I get cold chicken almost like it was cooked three hours earlier, and I called the manager to complain in the manager, called me a liar and was rude and was disrespectful to me as a customer never eat at bushes chicken if the managers are that bad. The food is worse. read more

My family has always been a fan of Bush's but after last Sunday we will no longer waste our hard earned money at this location. Paid $64 for 16pc tenders and extras and the tenders were the size of nuggets. If we didn't live so far away I would have taken it all back and asked for a refund. I guess I should have stayed in the growing line and checked it out before I drove away but I thought they were a better business than that, thinking I could trust I was getting what I paid for. Extremely disappointed and want to warn others of this establishment. read more

Bush's I'm so sorry I took you for granted till I went to another location very close by and their food is always cold and nasty. I have to send it back every time. You always come through and are very consistent! My food is hot and edible unlike another location I know about. My corn nuggets are always bomb! Your tea is heaven and I know it's a fast food restaurant but love y'all and I wish you could tip through card at your location. That's the only thing I would change. A very faithful customer! read more

Twice I have left this location without food. This last time I was ignored while making eye contact with 5 people then I'm told at 7 pm they are out of fries and mac. Out or don't want to make any? Terrible service. I will go across town next time or find a better chicken place. read more

We love bushes chicken! We come once a week and it's always hot and people are friendly

This establishment's speed, quality of food, and prices are all pretty reasonable. The food did take a little bit of time to come out, but it was worth it because the the food was fresh and well presented. The prices are moderate and fair for the quality of the chicken. Overall this bush's is pretty reliable and I love coming here. read more

Bush's Chicken - Large drink! - Fast Food Near Me - Temple, Texas

This is the SLOWEST to respond and disorganized Bush's I have ever been too! The people waiting on cars look confused and do not even know who is next as they don't ask or do the thumb's up/down like at other Bush's I have been to. Mr. Bush needs to spend a day with them. read more

Waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes, everyone in front of me, next to me, and behind me had gotten their orders taken and a few had received their orders already. We called the store to tell them we had been waiting quite awhile and they told us they would send someone right out. 5 minutes later and someone had finally come to take our order and got our card, and quickly brought the order out. 20 minutes in a drive thru is ridiculous, just for 2 teas. likely won't be back here. read more

Over the Christmas Break, we had our kiddos that live in San Diego down for a visit. They all love eating Bush's Chicken, so we stopped at Bush's Chicken on West Adams in Temple. We ordered our food and the server brought us our food (not sure if that is normal- we usually order through the takeout line)! When we finished our dinner and free drinks (we forgot to order them, so they comped 6 drinks!) we asked our server if we could buy a hoodie! My stepdaughter Emme, loves Bush's Chicken and wanted a hoodie. She even tried getting one from another location. Our server looked in the back and could not find one her size. He wrote down his name, email, and phone number and told me he could order one her one from corporate. I noticed his name was Corey Bush. I asked him if that was a coincidence and humbly said that his story was on the wall. He was CEO!! I can not say enough about how impressed I was by his demeanor, his heart for service, and his leadership. It was a busy night and he was working right alongside his employees taking orders and serving customers. I did email Corey Bush, and asked for a hoodie and offered Credit Card information to pay for it. I just received an email back from him and he has already sent her a new hoodie, FREE of charge and offered to send whatever else she might want! I have always loved eating Bush's Chicken (not the healthiest option, but yummy- they will bake chicken if you call ahead of time). I can honestly say that I will always support this organization. They truly embody the meaning of customer service and humility, even from the top of their Management!! read more

Poor. Poor. Service. Too many people doing too many things. Called in baked chicken order 3 hours ahead of time & it wasn't ready?!?!?! Doing one thing at a time prevents wrong orders being delivered to wrong vehicle. Having to wait for a forgotten call in order is frustrating. read more

When I called the manager thought I was lying and told me that they have had good looking pieces of chicken all day but what do you call this! This location was not so great. Ordered tenders from this location and the food was bone dry and not able to eat due to how dry they were. They were almost rubber like. I called and asked for a manager and was told they would call me and have yet to get a call from them. The staff are pretty friendly when we were picking up the order just wished the management was up to par. read more

This location is horrible! This will be the last time i am rippes off by them! Tonight i waited in the line for 45 mins as my family wanted a hot meal and requested this after the long could week with the blizzard. I ordered the family picnic. ( this isnt first time ordering this and them screwing it up). When they came back with the food and receipt they double billed me. Billed for the family picnic and then all items in the picnic individually. When i brought it to their attention. The employee said " what you want me to do about it?!" He went and got a manager and had it fixed i then asked to make sure they put gravy in the box for the tenders. He said " oh you wanted gravy?" I get the gravy and drive home to find out that they gave me single sides instead of the family sides that come with the picnic and did t give us the rolls that also come with the meal. For $40 i was ripped off and had to fight essentially for the food i did get and didnt get enough food for the family! This unfortunately wasnt the first time i didnt get everything i ordered but this will be the last dont waste you time or money here! read more

I work nearby and this is a stand-by for most of the office. I was never a Bush's Chicken person before I worked there. But honestly, I have never visited this location without having stellar service and piping hot food. My biggest complaint with take-away is that "they always give less and its cold..." but - I regularly visit this place and can't complain about either. Take it from a monsterously hungry office-worker, or don't - it'd be your loss. Hangry fer Chiken??? Just go here. Cuz, YUMMMM and they're super-nice too. read more
