We thought that we had found a reputable dealer, based on our sales experience, when we purchased a new camper from Burton's. But we would be in for a surprise as soon as we picked it up. We had to leave our truck for the service department to install their recommended hitch. The techs scratched the roof of the truck and according to Resse, the hitch manufacturer, they improperly installed the hitch and it damaged the truck bed. We constantly had to take the camper back to Burton's because they did not fix the complaint and damaged the camper while it was in their care. Twice they damaged the camper, tried to hide the damage and never notified us of the damage, not even when we picked it up. We found it as we cleaned the camper due to it sitting on their lot for 10 plus weeks at a time. In all the camper stayed at Burton's for 20 months of the 24 months we have owned it. My experience and opinion is that Burton Camper is careless, dishonest, and ill trained. read more
