The salesman told use he'd have a quote within two weeks. A month later we had to email him asking for the quote. It took another two weeks (6 weeks later) we received the quote. After we received the quote we called to agree and make payment. No one ever answered the phone after multiple tries. So, when drove down there where there were several staff just sitting around. They can sit but not answer the phones. They let us know the install date. The day after the install we call every extension and leave a message with the owner no call back to confirm the install for the next day. My husband takes the whole day off work for them to come. I call at 9:30 to be told that no one was coming not until the next week. I was given the excuse they have been behind, which I stated I understand but a phone call would have been nice. Once this is installed we will never use them again. Buyers be beware. Not great customer service at all.

We purchased Dura Supreme cabinets from them. This has caused us a major hardship. If they were to remove Dura Supreme from their line up of carried lines, I would give them a better rating. We spent months designing the perfect kitchen, and we were very excited. When the cabinets arrived, they were full of defects and the completely wrong color. It was clear Dura had used wood from the scrap pile (heartwood which does not take stain evenly), and that no human had actually looked at the cabinets as they were totally mismatched, the wrong sizes, wrong configuration, full of nail marks and burn marks. We spent around $15K and it made me physically sick to see the cabinets once they came in. After a few days of back and forth, Direct Source agreed to give us a full refund. That was good on Direct Source, they did seem to take responsibility and be ethical even though it was Dura Supreme's fault. However, now we've been without an upstairs kitchen for four months since we had to find someone else to build our upstairs kitchen in this market - luckily we knew someone, but still, it has been 4 months. We were also planning on using this property as a vacation rental, and we've lost the ability to do that for this time, and with our direct lake front access and busy tourist season, this is probably around $12K loss for the month of June alone. The thing that really gets to me is the hassle of having to redesign the kitchen with another vendor, the wait, and the fact that now we won't be able to do things like return our other expensive kitchen fixtures if they don't work out with the new design because it's beyond the return period. So while I would say you might have an OK experience with the Direct Source staff, Direct Source can only be as good as it's cabinet lines, and as long as they continue to use the Dura Supreme cabinet line, they are putting customers at major financial risk. I have read the BBB reviews for Dura and apparently our $15k cabinet project was really just minor -- there are people who ordered $100k cabinets from Dura and had the same problems, only weren't able to get a full refund. So while I appreciate the way Direct Source handled it, Dura Supreme is not a company you should ever do business with and we ended up doing business with Dura through Direct Source. The Dura rep in the Flathead area was simply offensive, trying to convince us that the cabinets delivered were the same as what we ordered (see picture) and it was totally gaslighting. So beware - Dura Supreme, the line they carry - is using piles of scrapwood for cabinets and shipping things full of defects. Dura's advertising is false and if you have a problem, they will blame it on "natural variation". Even if Direct refunds you themselves, good luck finding someone else to do cabinets in this market, we were lucky to already have someone in waiting and have a downstairs appartment kitchen to use. You might not be so lucky. So Direct Source, you are may be an ok business, but you simply must end your relationship with one of your main cabinet lines Dura Supreme to protect your customers and you reputation. Homeowners, if you want to do business with Direct Source still, you might be ok, but please under no circumstances should you use Dura Supreme.

We had two separate…read morebrand new kitchens that were in the 25-$30k price range but that was years ago so it would be more now. Two separate houses, one with the old owners and one with the new owners. (they asked us to give them a chance again with the new owners, worst mistake!) It was one terrible mistake after another both times. It literally took a year to get cabinets fully installed and many rudimentary issues that they didn't fix or took forever to fix. It makes me sad because I look at my brand new kitchen still and see all the issues and the trim falling off in spots because it's not attached to anything behind it, the side disintegrating when it was supposed to be all real wood, and the island installed in the wrong spot so our main path of travel is too narrow, some cabinets were ordered with the wrong finish, the wrong drawer styles ordered on some cabinets, different profiles of crown on different cabinets, they had to hire a painter to come in and paint some of our brand new cabinets because some were glazed and some weren't etc. they told us if we kept the mistakes they would credit us back money and then never did. Like super basic stuff. It was just one issue after another. Cabinets are currently falling apart in areas and they wouldn't do any follow up when I tried to reach out to them so I finally gave up. Their warranty isn't real. I spoke to them in person, emailed and called and they just ghosted me after awhile. I would definitely NEVER recommend.
